    Cleanliness

Just renewed for a second year. This apartment is located in a good area near restaurants, parks, etc. Jess, the property manager, has always been very responsive, diligent and professional; couldn't ask for a better manager. The facilities are always well kept, clean and maintained in spite of the usual few misbehaving tenants. Happy to stay another year here.

    Management responded

My husband and I absolutely loved our time here. Nothing beat coming home to this incredible view and beautiful layout of an apartment. The location is so ideal and close to the freeway, groceries, gas, the park, and plenty of restaurants! Jess and Chase have been incredible and so friendly and helpful throughout our stay here. We are so grateful to have stumbled upon the Vine and it has been worth every penny to the both of us. Mahalo for a great stay ☺️

i LOVE the Vine. i’ve lived here for about 7 months and it’s been a great experience. my unit is tucked away in the corner where it’s super quiet. everyone here is really nice. i use the huge hot tub on the 2nd floor often. not to mention Jess and Elijah are quick to get my maintenance requests figured out (i’ve had like 1 maybe 2 since moving in). if you need somewhere convenient to live and quiet, this is the place.

    Management responded

Overall not the worst but not the best place to live at. Jess (building manager) recently started and she has been the best! Extremely helpful when I reach out to her, and she makes sure everything I bring up to her is brought to a close. Pros: Great location for freeway access and other local shops. Views. Large balconies. High ceilings. Gym area has more options than expected since it is small. Cons: Garage doors broken often. Fees seem excessive with no reason (to add another example to what others have listed - our rent portal switched and now charges a higher fee just to pay rent). Internet is expensive and has issues. Resident cleanliness in common areas. Since Jess started, she has helped a ton with the last con by sending out messages to residents, having the areas cleaned more, etc. she has helped this place out a lot!

    Management responded

Thank you for such a thoughtful and honest review, Jacob! We really appreciate you taking the time to share both the highlights and the areas for growth. A huge shoutout to Jess, we’re so glad to hear she’s made a positive impact and has been helpful and responsive. She truly cares and your kind words mean a lot! Update: they’ve fixed majority of the issues. Awesome on taking feedback, updated my review. Overall, the location, aesthetic appeal, large balcony areas, and for the most part management have been good to work with. However, I’m only giving 3 stars due to the lack of sanitation wipes in the gym, dirty gym bathrooms, and unclean common areas. I’m not sure if they hire cleaning staff, but if they do, they need to clean better/restock. This issue isn’t solely on management; tenants should also use common sense and clean up after themselves in shared spaces. There have also been constant issues with the elevators and gates, which has been quite inconvenient.

    Management responded

Thank you so much for updating your review, Ali! We’re glad to hear that our team’s efforts have made a positive difference. Thanks again for sharing your insights, and please reach out if there’s anything more we can do to make your experience even better. We appreciate you!

I have lived here just shy of 6 months and overall really like this property. PROS: Amazing views, and great location with quick access to freeways and downtown. Murray park is in the backyard of the property and I am there almost daily. The property is walking distance to several restaurants and town events. Move in was quick and easy, and almost no problems with the apartment itself. CONS: Gates and elevators on the property are almost always down and not able to be used. Once its fixed, it breaks down a week later. Management is spread thin between multiple properties so communication and lacking in response time and can take up to 1-2 weeks to get anything addressed. Once communication is finally responded to the staff are friendly and quick to make sure things are done. Again they just seem to be spread thin. Overall I would recommend living here based on location alone. Apartment is beautiful and the property is very quiet compared to most places I have lived.

    Management responded

We appreciate your feedback regarding the gates and elevators, as well as the communication challenges. We’re actively working to improve our response times and the reliability of our amenities. There are pros and cons about this place. Overall I love living here and the cons listed are things I can live with since I typically fix my apartment myself. The apartment is beautiful with marble counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, low pile carpeting, and checkered bathroom tiles. Great location near State Street- 10 min drive to downtown. Pros: -Great gym that has a variety of equipment that is kept clean and doesn't smell. -Large open space floor plans that don't have a lot of hallways taking up your sq footage. -Assigned parking spots -Key access only building for a higher level of security -Newer building that has better sound proofing for nearby neighbors. -Very clean hallways and public spaces. I see the cleaning service the building hires at least once a week cleaning public spaces and elevators. -The package lockers and mailboxes are inside the building and come with an app that you can use to get your packages easier (Luxor) I love having this!! Cons: -Parking garage doors are broken more often than not, one of the doors isn't the property's fault as someone rammed the door before it could open. -The office management has a long response time, and doesn't have an onsite maintenance team to address concerns quickly. For example my water heater makes my water smell like eggs and they haven't fixed it yet. Or the hot tub has been low on water for weeks and it hasn't been addressed. -Since this is a new build there will be new construction problems. Each unit is different so look closely when touring the apartment. My unit was just dirty from new construction dust and some screws weren't tightened all the way on some fixtures. But my friend who also moved in had more issues with his apartment. -Hot tub and grill area looks slopped together to get the space opened. A lot of open areas that could be better used, and it just looks like it wasn't a priority. -Most of the guest parking spaces are inside the parking gates? They are taken up by residents who don't want to pay for parking spots, and it makes having guests over a bit of a inconvenience. They have a back lot outside of the parking gates that should be used for guest parking, but isn't? A few of the cons will be worked out as the office finds their groove or hires more people since the current team is split between two locations. Overall, I like living here and will continue to live here until I'm ready to buy a house.

    Management responded

Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that you love living here and appreciate the features you mentioned, like the gym, spacious layouts, and the convenience of our package lockers. We also value your feedback regarding the areas that need improvement. We apologize for the maintenance delays you’ve experienced and the issues with the parking garage doors. Your insights are important to us, and we’re actively working to enhance our response times and overall service. Thank you for your understanding as we work through these growing pains. If there’s anything else we can do to improve your experience, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We'd love to help.

I can’t recommend my apartment enough! From the moment I moved in, it’s felt like home. The layout is spacious and beautifully designed. The view from my apartment is absolutely amazing! It is definitely one of the perks of living here. As a pet owner, finding a pet-friendly apartment was a must, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The building is incredibly welcoming to pets, and there are plenty of nearby parks for walks and playtime. If you’re searching for an amazing apartment with a spectacular view and a pet-friendly atmosphere, look no further! Management is also absolutely amazing; Chase made my move in process go so smoothly. Kobe is also great; he is always willing to answer any questions I may have.
