Apartment History is a renter-side tool that rebuilds an apartment's real story from its public reviews over time — the rating trajectory, the change-point (the month the rating actually moved), and flags for suspicious review activity — and pairs it with objective public data: FBI crime, walkability, air quality, and internet availability.

Why it exists

Every review site shows a different number for the same building, listings bury the trend, and asking an AI just re-summarizes the same reviews that may be gaming you. We turn hours of scattered homework into one honest report — so a renter signing a year-long lease can see what they're walking into.

What “aggregator, not grader” means

We surface what reviewers said and what public records show. We never assign our own score, star, or “verdict,” and we never call a review fake or name an individual.
