They consistently provide high-quality maintenance and demonstrate extensive knowledge when addressing any issues. I particularly appreciate their helpfulness and the efficiency with which they complete repairs.

I absolutely love living here! Brittney is awesome and made move-in such a breeze. Maintenance is amazing!! any time I’ve had a question or issue, it’s been taken care of right away. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and truly cares. Such a great place to live!

Wonderful service!!! (Thank you Ashley and Brittany!!!) They were incredibly kind and transparent, just as I was, making the process of moving in nearly seamless. When I came to sign the lease, Brittany made sure my little brother accompanying me has some fun distractions. Ashley left me updates and answered every question with clarity! I can definitely see myself renewing when my lease is up!!

I toured this complex with the manager Brittney, I loved the unit however I do need something bigger for my family! She’s was great! Very professional and understanding!

The apartments are very nice, the community is quiet, and the management is STELLAR. Honestly Brittney is the most helpful and honest Property Manager I have ever lived under. When my car was towed by mistake she helped me get the price reduced, when my rent payment was lost, she worked with me and waived the fees, when I lost my job, she told me she would work with me to ensure that I didn't lose my home. The apartments are good, but the management is what got me to renew my lease

I have lived here for more than 5 years, the property manager Brittany is so nice, and she really improved the property, she made changes here, got rid of toxic people. And the maintenance team Jason is so awesome to work with. He always tries to fix whatever problems in a timely manner. Everyone in the office are really nice and professional. I highly recommend the Calaveras to rent in. Thank you for always being supportive to the tenants. 😊

Both the leasing staff Brittney and Alex are wonderful. Alex helped my roommate and I with everything we needed for moving in. Once we got there, Brittney allowed us to tour every open unit in the building until we found the perfect one for us. They are both so accommodating and understanding. Brittney quickly became not only our leasing staff, but a friend as well. She is constantly working to improve The Calaveras, bettering so much in just the 6 months I lived there. I will miss her and this apartment dearly!!

I’ve had a wonderful experience living here Apt 84! Communicating with the apartment manager, Britney, has been so easy , she is always understanding, professional, and quick to respond to any situation that comes up. Whenever there’s an issue with the unit, Britney and the maintenance team are right on it , truly like two peas in a pod! The maintenance team is fast and reliable, which has made my time here stress-free. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. It’s not only convenient and affordable, but the supportive management really makes it feel like home!

Brittney and Alek are great to work with. They have been transparent with helping us and it seems like the maintenance team is stepping up. Communication is key and they do communicate about the progress of the property.

I lived at the calaveras for 2 years, i just moved out but absolutely loved it there :) Alex and Brit are always so helpful and go out of their way for tenants ! Brian and Jason are the best maintenance team out there, they helped us out more than once and were always super friendly :)

They Allow tenants to smoke in apartments so if you’re looking for that, look no further. Also they like to breach the contract you sign aka your “lease” *Update* The office and maintenance team both helped me with the issue. They are a great group of folk, if you have a problem just communicate it with the office. They have beeen very consistent and thorough when approaching my particular situation. Great communication and people skills

The maintenance and office team are really nice. We’ve lived here for two years with no major issues. There’s roaches, but they spray monthly and if you see any in excess and notify them they’ll spray again. If you come to live here, notify the office of anything not up to your expectations. They really do put in an effort to make it a welcoming place to live.

The manager and leasing agents are amazing people. They made sure I was taken care of when things got rough or complicated for me. The space was smaller than I expected but actually worked best for me. Repairs were always timely and efficient. I would have stayed longer if I didn’t get a house. Thank you Calaveras!

We have lived here nearly 2 years and it's been pretty good. Sherry and Rylie in the office are so great. Always on top of it. Maintenance gets things taken care of in a timely fashion. Great property.

Me and my girlfriend moved in and there were some issues. Some of which were taken care of, others were more complicated. Given the age of the apartments there will be certain problems to be expected. Given all of that, I have the utmost confidence in the office. Sheri and Riley (I hope I'm spelling their names right) are amazing people and were very, caring, empathetic, and helpful. They did everything in their power to make things right.

To the calaveras apartment the staff is very nice. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a place to live. and they are dog friendly.

I feel like this is a great place to live. We just renewed our lease and so glad we did. Office and maintenance staff are friendly and get things done in a timely manner. Neighbors are nice and mostly keep to themselves. Definitely see myself staying for a while. -117

We have lived at the calaveras for a few years now and we love it. The office staff and maintenance are so friendly and my dog loves to say hi to them any chance he gets. They always greet us with a happy face and a treat for my dog. Definitely recommend :) -29

My little family of four lived here for a full year lease, just ended the end of April 2021. My main reason for four stars is the management and office staff are phenomenal, if it was rating them alone, definitely would be five stars. The Calaveras was ultimately a great place to live. The apartment was spacious enough to be comfortable for the four of us since our second son was under the age of one so he shared a room with us while here. The overall floorplan isn't the best, wish there was more of a dining area. We spent most meals eating on our couches, wasn't too great that way. There isn't a balcony so it made it harder to get out into some sunshine. Also with us being in building A, the windows faced the police station next door also limiting sunshine and natural light. Talking about light, the lighting could use some help. At the start of our residency, the kitchen light would start flashing like a strobe light. With it being the first couple months of COVID, they wouldn't fulfill maintenance request. So we sat on that flashy light for a good two months. Aside from the flashing issue, the kitchen was well lit. However, the living room and two bedrooms only had one simple dome light. The living room one was very dim, barely did anything for us. Now to why the staff is great. The manager, Sherrie was very patient with us in paying rent. With COVID happening, our income was heavily reduced. She pushed a couple due dates for us, she waived a few late fees. She was great, absolutely awesome, I couldn't be more thankful. And once the time came for moving out, they allowed me one more day to officially get everything moved out and clean the apartment a little. If you're looking for a place to move into and the smallish apartments are sufficient for you, I say at least look at the places and make your own judgments. We enjoyed it even with all the issues that transpired.

Best place to live! Yes there where roaches but they did their best to handle the situation. By the time we moved out it was handled and under control. If you kept your apartment clean you wouldn’t see hardly any. Every few weeks a exterminator would come around to spray. They always let you know a head of time and asked for permission if they need to come in and fixed anything. Kurtis the maintenance guy is super cool & very friendly. He is always on time and get things fixed immediately. He makes sure that the space he worked on is clean and functional once his done. Sherry at the office is so nice, polite, understanding & professional. She has helped made our stay comfortable & welcoming. If we ever had question about bills or rent she always had an answer and options to help us decide. Rent was very reasonable for a two bedroom apartment. Parking was never an issue and they had other spaces for guests to park at when visiting. We always had a security team patrol around the apartments after dark which helped us feel safe.

My wife and I have lived at the Calaveras South Apartments for over a year now. I have not even so much as seen the other Calaveras apartments and so I am sticking specifically to my own experiences in my current apartment and my interactions with management. Location: Of course there is basically nothing that the management themselves can do about the location, but it is something important to mention in a review. That is why even though it is not exactly the best, it will not effect the scoring for me. The location is actually kind of odd. If you look to the north and the west then things are pretty and the buildings are new and clean. However, looking to the east and south it is the exact opposite. The neighboring apartments to the west are similar in price and are brand new in a gated area. The neighboring apartments to the east are... poor. I nearly witnessed a stabbing occur once at the south eastern apartments whilst taking out my trash. Something to keep in mind. Management: I loved the management. Sherri was my go to woman for anything that we needed or had questions about and I sometimes would visit just to chat because she's just an all around wonderful person. I will say that calling is really difficult to get a hold of anyone. I have had days where I've called three or four times and got nobody on the line, but if I walked over to the offices I was helped immediately. Something else to keep in mind. The management also would hold a small social gathering once a month offering treats of some form or another and helps with a sense of community there. There is gym equipment available as well as Amazon boxes to deliver items to and prevent them from getting stolen off your front porch which I really appreciated. Outside of the office is a pool available to the tenants to use and it is very well kept. Maintenance: There is one maintained worker and he is outstanding. Since he is a lone person sometimes it will take a bit of time before he can get to you, which is understandable. Anything we needed repaired he did an excellent job and even offered us with multiple solutions to a problem and let us choose which we would like him to do. He was a very cool individual and we never felt uncomfortable with him coming into the apartment to do his job. Our apartment: We love our apartment. They are simple and they were definitely recently redone on the inside. I have not had any issues with the actual structure other than some uneven spots on the floor, which is obviously not a big deal at all. The walls and floors are thick enough that, for the most part, you didn't have to hear the neighbors all of the time. Not to say that you can never hear them, but just that it isn't a constant thing. The washer/dryer combo provided is very cool, but I will also say that doing laundry takes longer than a traditional side by side washer and dryer and when the spin cycle is running it will shake the apartment. We had to tape down a few things on our counters so that the vibrations didn't shake them off over time. I tried to present both great things and not so great things for fairness sake. Even though things weren't flawless I truly feel like the Calaveras South Apartments has earned five stars in my mind, and if we didn't need to move we would've stayed here for years to come. (If you're an impatient or entitled person then A) You're a problem and a menace in society go and get therapy and B) do not live here. These people deserve better than to deal with people like you. They work really hard day in and day out and you can really see that even if it isn't always perfect. They're good people. I really got sick of seeing some of the rude Karen-esque personalities in the offices raising hell over tiny issues.)

I have been here for a year and a half and I love it!!!! My Neighbors are quiet the pool is amazing but what keeps me here is the staff they have been amazing and so kind during this difficult time with the pandemic. It is because of them I was able to keep my apartment so a very big thank you ♥️

I lived here a few years ago and moved back in last year. They have cleaned the place up a lot; most, if not all, of the problematic tenants are gone and from what I can tell, sketchy people don’t hangout here anymore. They have a dog run/pet play area which is super important to me. Maintenance issues get resolved in a fair amount of time. Only thing I don’t really like is having to have an internet/cable package but that’s a lot of places nowadays.

My partner and I have been living here for a couple of months now and I have had a great experience with the office staff as well as the maintenance! I recommend for a first apartment!

Love living here! The staff, Sherry, Emily, and Curtis are great! Super easy to deal with and always very friendly. The apartment is great for a single woman like myself and of course my awesome sidekick Kaskade (Great Dane)

Sherry and Emily and Curtis are awesome they are alwaysthere to answer your questions and get things done. The rooms are small and you can tell it's been updated. Haven't had any major problems. I Have lived here for 4 months and haven't had an my issues the neighbors keep to them selves and are friendly when passing. The only thing can happen now is its only going to get better once the parking gets fixed and the buildings are more secure. They will work with you even if you're credit is bad.

We really enjoyed our experience renting with Emily. She is friendly and responsive. Ultimately, we decided to rent with the Calaveras because it has a very central location with quick access to the freeway. It's an older complex, but the units have been remodeled very tastefully. The price is right (hard to find attainably priced housing in the Valley anymore) and they worked with our credit. I think they are definitely worth a look if you are looking to move.

It's a lovely building. Not the greatest area but that's hardly their fault. Management has been very accommodating. A bit on the pricy side for the size but it's a very quiet place I can't hear my neighbors which is very nice. Overall I like living here.

My dog and I love living here!!! Our neighbors were quiet and pleasant. It’s a great place if you have pets. My apartment is so pretty inside with a polished updated renovation in a quaint side of old town Midvale. Sherry and Malinda were so professional and always answer my questions in the timeliest fashion. They are awesome and do an amazing job. I also super appreciate the maintenance manager Curtis for being available, helpful and having such a positive attitude!

The maintenance guy has been very helpful and has responded very quickly when needed. I think the office staff is very friendly and helpful. Sherrie has been very nice and has helped us with any questions that we have had. Thanks!!

I havent any issues with my apartment but small issues and I report them to the office and they are fixed promptly.. The community is nice and quiet with the exception of constuction going on across the way during the day but they have to do their job😎.. I'm totally excited about the pool construction underway.. The office staff and the maintenance guy are always nice and Friendly to me.. My stay here has been quite pleasant and I dont have any complaints ☺️☺️
