    Maintenance

Front office staff is very kind and my maintenance guy is very responsive! I’ve been here over 3 years and every time I’ve called maintenance they are at my apartment within 30 minutes! Amazing apartments and haven’t had any issues!

  • ★★★★★May 2024

I love Summerwood. The office staff are great and they are helpful with the students.

  • ★★★★★Mar 2024

I’ve only lived here a few months and already I love it!! The office ladies are super nice, and very accommodating. I had a rough start moving in and they worked with me so much! I’m not sure why there are bad reviews, but they are few and far inbetween. I highly recommend these apartments!

    Cleanliness

My initial experience with this apartment complex was challenged by management inefficiencies and an indoor smoking issue that significantly impacted my living conditions. I encountered a series of management shortcomings, from a lack of urgency in addressing complaints to what seemed like an indifference to tenant welfare and satisfaction. The most pressing concern was the rampant indoor smoking by neighbors, which was not only a daily nuisance but also a serious health hazard that seemed to be overlooked by the management team despite the potential legal ramifications and clear violation of lease agreements. However, I feel it's important to highlight the significant improvements and the diligent efforts made by the leasing office over the past 8 months to address these issues. Their commitment to resolving the problems has transformed my experience from one of frustration to one of satisfaction. The management team took the necessary steps to tackle the smoking issue, enhancing the air quality in my unit and ensuring a healthier living environment. Their renewed focus on tenant welfare and their willingness to take action have been commendable. This turnaround has shown me that the leasing office values its residents and is capable of making substantial changes to improve living conditions. It's a testament to their dedication to tenant satisfaction and their ability to address and rectify concerns effectively. For potential tenants considering this property, my journey underscores the importance of communication and the positive impact of a responsive management team. While the start of my tenancy was challenging, the efforts made to improve the situation have made a significant difference. The affordability of the rent, coupled with the resolved issues, now makes living here a much more positive experience. I encourage those interested in this property to consider the responsiveness and improvements demonstrated by the management team as a significant factor in their decision.

Idk what’s up with the bad reviews, I’ve been here for almost two years. The place is safe, well kept. Maintenance is ALWAYS responsive, they fix everything relatively quick. I love it here, I love opening my French doors and hearing the birds, I love the pool on site, I love the staff, everyone has been good to me here. Is it brand spanking new? No, but it’s clean, it’s safe and they’re responsive.

    Maintenance

Reading reviews before moving in, I had my hesitations. Having had friends that had lived here previously with no real complaints, I gave it a shot. First few months have been extremely pleasant. Maintenance quickly fixed the few issues I had at move in, and the staff has been respectful. I’d recommend the place to anyone looking for a budget friendly apartment.

    MaintenanceFees & rentNoise

The price is really fair for the size of the apartments. There is an actual maintenance team that works fast and super friendly office staff. I've had some issues in the unit but it's super easy to fix up myself. Rent continues to go up, just like everywhere else but at least it is only about a 30 dollar increase instead of a 300 dollar one (looking at you Thornhill). My neighbors are super friendly, and honestly for an apartment it's really quiet. Can only really hear through the walls in the bathrooms. Oh and Google fiber. Xfinity is trash so I'm so happy they have a really good alternative here.

    Maintenance

People need to Relax - I've been here for 8+ years. I don't get peoples complaints. I've never had problems with my apartment. The staff is nice and easy to work with. Any problems I had they are addressed as soon as possible. Noise complaints never heard people never got one towards me. Seriously great place. if you're looking to just find a place to live to hang your hat so to speak this is the place. Easy access to lots of restaurants and grocery stores on top of anything else. Long story short(sorry) people just need to relax, its a great place.

  • ★★★★Jun 2022
    MaintenanceAmenities

This place doesn't get the credit it deserves and I think it's because of their age. Yeah, they're older apartments. But they are still WELL underpriced over other rental properties while providing a good amount of space. Year round pool and racquetball courts and workout room. Maintenance is on top of it! I put in a request and it's handled within a day. Office staff is friendly and willing to talk to you about issues. I'll be here for a while still with my two kids.

  • ★★★★★Jan 2022
    MaintenanceNoise

I have lived here for about 11 years and have had every maintenance request handled the same day. Jen and Tracy in the office have always been polite and responsive. Best place. Very quiet. Great place to live after 11 years experience.

    Pests

I lived here for 2 years. It's a bit older place but you get what you pay for. There are lots of good people that live around here. I always had a good experience with the renters office. I see alot of bad reviews but I beyond loved it here and I'm sad to leave. They changed the carpet when. I moved in and past control came a few time. I never had issues with bed bugs.

  • ★★★★★Jan 2019
    Maintenance

I really loved enjoy living here. Apartment was very nice and clean when I moved in. They keep up the grounds it's nice to see. I never have to wait to have anything fixed which is very good thing. I recommend anybody living here they have outstanding service.

  • ★★★★Feb 2018
    Maintenance

I moved here because the price was low and they offered a 6 month contract option, and I ended up enjoying it. My one issue was that you can't turn the thermostat down past like 74 degrees in the summer or the pipes freeze, and boy was I sweating. They're obviously not the nicest apartments, but that's to be expected for the low price. But maintenance is quick, the office people are helpful, and I never had any issues with the neighbors or neighborhood. The location is very central to get pretty much anywhere in the valley, which is awesome. I don't think you can get a better apartment for so cheap.

  • ★★★★★Jan 2016
    Amenities

I have lived in the newer apts towards the back since Sept. I haven't had any complaints and when I do in regards to something inside the apt it gets fixed. I love what you get for your money there compared to other apts in the nearby area. They have great facilities too such as swimming, hot tub, workout area. The office has been very nice and polite, again I have no complaints. It's quiet, and neighbors are respectful so far great experience.
