Went in for a tour with Tanner McKay and I cannot expressed how excited I am to move here and call it home! The whole area is beautiful and clean and surprisingly quiet! Tanner has such a personable personality and was so professional and kind. The leasing office has a HUGE area that can be used by their residents and looks so homey. It has a coffee bar and refrigerator and a kitchen island that you can sit at to hang out with a pool table. Needless to say I will be setting up here to study and do homework and spending my time. They are decently priced for the amount of square footage you get. And every apartment has a washer and dryer! I went to see about 7 places and I can honestly say I went to see one more after this place, came home and applied! Im going to show my bf the area and place tomorrow and cannot wait! This place is a gem 💎 ✨️ 💖 😍

I’ve lived here over the course of two years and two different management companies and I can attest that things have improved significantly since the new one has taken over. The Maintence staff, specifically Jose & Andrew, are very friendly and quick to respond to issues as they arise. The common areas (pool, gym, clubhouse) are always well kept & the actual community is very kind. Walls are a little thin & in the non-carpeted apartments you can hear all the footsteps of people above you but that’s true of most places. Also, I don’t think the hot tub has worked the entire time I’ve lived here but overall it’s been a very pleasant experience.

I love living here. The office staff is amazing and the maintenance staff is phenomenal. I will live here a long time.

The front desk staff truly listens, empathizes, and genuinely cares about your experience living here. They have been helpful and supportive. The maintenance team is quick, efficient, and friendly — they even made my pup feel comfortable. The apartment itself has been quiet with beautiful views. It’s close to the Jordan Parkway trail, golf course, and shopping.

2025 Update… They have gotten a lot better..

I have been a tenant at River Oaks in West Jordan, Utah for almost 4 years. Although I have seen 3 Management Corp. changes, I still feel it is a great place to live. The location is great, peaceful, and overall accommodating.

Excellent place to live. The community is quiet, well-maintained, and perfectly located near everything West Jordan has to offer.

I love and trust River Oaks because of the maintenance staff. Jose and Andrew consistently and promptly show up for every service request with professionalism and respect. Though no place when renting is perfect, having your space being taken of in a respectful and prompt manner goes a long way! The property is also in a safe and centralized location near grocery stores and other necessities. It has met my residential needs and I’m grateful to live here.

The maintenance team is amazing and quick to get things done. The office staff and management team has been great at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. I loved the pool area! I love BBQing so this is a win! There appears to be ample parking. The gym looks appealing. The apartments are nice I love the breakfast bar in the kitchen. The office personnel were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I love the view of the mountains. I dropped in to check out their apartments for one of my children moving to the area. I was able to send all the pertinent information to them. They seemed to love the pictures I sent and said they would follow up with River Oaks. Great neighborhood and people. Maintenance is always helpful and management is easy to deal with. After gaining new property management this year I maintain my review.

Management is responsive and professional, always quick to fix any issues or answer questions. The building is well-maintained, and common areas are always clean. I have really liked living here. The leasing office people are really easy to work with and the maintenance guys are awesome. 4 stars due to the amount of confusion that happens with the billing. Expect odd charges typical of a lot of apartments these days.

After moving out at the end of March I was sent a bill for a full month of rent. Somehow during the transition between Greystar management and Kairoi someone lost the record of our last payment and Kairoi sent us the bill. Calling the helpline and going into the office to talk to them were unhelpful. After leaving a review Kairoi management reached out and resolved the situation via email for us. Greystar neglected to get back to Kairoi in a timely manner but Kairoi kept me updated throughout the process. We ended up getting our deposit back. As I don't live there anymore I don't know how Kairoi will continue to service the River Oaks community, but I can confidently say that Greystar sucks. Godspeed.

The staff is the friendliest and most caring thatI have ever experienced. Work orders go seamlessly. Quiet and respectful community. Using the clubhouse is always an excellent experience.

Went to look at an apartment amarilis gave great costumer service, really nice apartment but they didn't have the floor plan I wanted, but they where super nice people, very welcoming.

I want to leave a positive review for Maria Contreras because she was able to work out getting our walkway floors done. It was done with a high quality resin. In years past they used just a cover up. This time the floor walkway was done well and will last for years!

Amarilis was very helpful setting up my lease renewal. She answered all my questions and the process was very smooth.

So far living in River Oaks has been very good, maybe the rent goes up every month but I guess because they can’t rent all the apartments

We have lived here for over a year and the only complaints I have are that there’s hardly any parking for an extra car (second car) and that our fridge had a ice machine maker that never worked the entire time we stayed there. Other than that the people in the office were great and our neighbors were really nice and considerate.

River Oaks is a very beautiful community. The landscaping has a very relaxing feel. The new renovations were a nice change and done very very well. The front office staff were very nice. There is a cute receptionist and the manager is 11/10, super nice guy. Any issue you do have, the complex takes care of immediately and make you feel as though your one little problem is life or death for them, which is really nice. We also want to mention how well taken care of the property is- clean and clear of trash or advertisements that a lot of companies are now making money on putting out signs on their properties. You won’t find that here. This property is one of the most quiet ones I’ve ever been to. I would recommend this place based on all this.

I really loved living here for the past three years. The location was very central, management was great, and maintenance issues were handled in a timely manner. However, I moved out over three months ago and still have not had my security deposit returned to me. I left my apartment in pristine condition, so it is very frustrating when I have called multiple times asking for either my security deposit or an explanation only to have it be “previous management’s” problem. I would have given this review 5 stars if not for this ongoing issue, and I would really appreciate an answer. Update: my security deposit was returned in full! Thank you River Oaks!

Our stay at River Oaks was phenomenal, from superior customer service to outstanding housekeeping services. This is a great place and will highly recommend to others new to the area. If you have a business or are a professional this place is quiet, there's a courtesy officer on site. Maintenance requests are handled in timely manner by competent maintenance professionals. Thanks for the amazing experience, just relocating to something bigger for my family. Josue and his management staff go above and beyond to create a community feel and provide an extraordinary experience to residents. 100% recommend

My dog and I stayed here 6mos for work. The property is clean and management is responsive and accommodating. Shopping, entertainment and the airport are all easily accessed from River Oaks. I looked thoroughly and could not find better accomodations for the price. They were doing a bit of remodeling during my stay, and 9000S can be busy and noisy at all times. Parking can become a challenge, but I always found a spot and garages are available. I'd definitely stay here again. If you are still searching - go ahead and make a reservation with confidence.

I lived at River Oaks Apartments for 6 1/2 years and loved it. It has a great community of people and its management is, by far, the best I have ever experienced. They are easy to work with, want to ensure the apartment is a good community for everyone, and keep it safe. I would have stayed at the complex if I hadn't moved out of state.

I lived there for 6 years and it is the best apartment my wife and I have ever lived in. Management is very friendly and easy to work with if issues come up. Prices are very reasonable and they're pet-friendly (and other tenants are actually good about cleaning up after their dogs!). The neighborhood is generally quiet since it's next to a golf course. Moved to Utah and didn’t know the area the office staff was great and helpful very clean well maintained rooms with excellent service. Would definitely stay again

The management and maintenance people are amazing. They take very good care of us every time we stay there. The lobby is inviting and the rooms are kept up and clean.

I rented a suite for a month. Communication with building management was excellent; the dishwasher did not work and they fixed it promptly. The unit was "light" on cookware and I had to purchase a few things I needed. The rooms are clean and functional, however they are dated and just felt "tired"-couch was worn and TV in bedroom was an old CRT that flickered once it got warm.

I'm somewhat of an apartment nomad. I usually bounce from apartment to apartment and the longest I've ever stayed in one complex was 13 months. This place has it covered from a through z. The management is grade A and is always willing to work with the tenants. The maintenance team is respectful, quick, and effective. The tenants are quiet (except for this one jack*** who kept playing the banjo). After 2 and a half, almost 3 years, I'm finally moving out due to a family emergency but it's sad to leave the place behind! The owner of the complex should be proud of the people he has hired. Professional but not to the point that they are cold hearted. 10/10 recommended

I’m a current resident here and I cannot rave enough about the staff and facility. The apartments are clean, tidy and very well kept. Moving in was easy breezy and the location is one I am happy with. The staff are equally as great; very friendly and extremely responsive. 10/10 would recommend! I’ve never rented a place where ownership treats you like friends rather than tenants.

River Oaks Suites/ Apartments has been a fantastic option for my family and I. The office staff is outstanding. They really are what makes this place top notch. They are professional, super friendly and get things done quickly. We haven't had any major maintenance issues with our suite, but for a few small things maintenance was very fast, competent and professional. The Suites themselves are very clean and feel like home. The grounds of the complex are really pretty with lots of grass and trees. There is a little park on site for my kids. I haven't had any parking issues. As far as the pool, we haven't used it yet but it seems popular and looks well maintained. I have nothing but great things to say about River Oaks. It's been a five star experience from day one.

Apartments are well maintained great home environment. both office staff are really nice and friendly, maintenance throughout property is well done both young guys are hard workers keep the property safe and well salted throughout snow season makes it easy to get in an out safely 10 star 😀

I've stayed at River Oaks on two separate occasions, once upon moving into SLC and another time inbetween homes. The staff are fantastic and work hard to accomodate guests! The location is clean, the area is safe, and weekly housekeeping in the suites is an added bonus. Hopefully I won't need their services again, but in the event I do, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here!

Very polite staff, great apartments, any issues were handled professionally and quickly. Cleaning staff was excellent, never had anything go missing and did a great job cleaning. If i ever come back to SLC i will stay there first choice! And if they are full I'll get on the waiting list and get in as soon as i can!

My husband and I travel quite a bit for work so we’re always hotel hopping. We found the suites and it just felt like home. The staff was super friendly and treated us like family. You definetly get more for your money staying here than at a hotel. We loved the amount of space we got- fully equipped kitchen- large living space- separate bedroom- balcony- and even a washer and dryer. Plus they are pet friendly && can even give you a key to your own mailbox. Absolutely loved our stay here & highly recommend
