This is the nicest place I’ve ever lived at. I genuinely don’t think there’s a better building in Austin, amazing amenities, attentive staff, beautiful apartments, high end appliances, practical layouts, and breathtaking views. Thank you to Mitch, Melissa the concierge staff and maintenance staff for making this such a pleasant experience.

Perfect location, right in the heart of it all. Very walkable and convient and with super friendly staff. Kerry, is an amazing concierge, super witty, helpful, and kind. Truly one of the best I have been around.

Had an easy move and excited to be living here. Happy that getting my utilities and internet was easy to handle, thanks to the office staff. Great, friendly neighbors!

Great location! Staff is super friendly and the community is nice and clean.

I lived there for 3 years and could not be happier! The management Karlos is very creative with planning community events. There is a community coffee house with more than enough supplies to start your day or end it. If I didn't have to move, I would definitely renew my lease. The only caveat is that always one of the elevators is out of service. This is the biggest complaint I had in 3 years, you can guess how good it was!

I lived at The Whitley and absolutely loved my experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and always made me feel welcome and taken care of. The building is kept 100% clean at all times — from the lobby to the common areas to the amenities, everything is spotless. The views from the apartment are insane — waking up to the downtown Austin skyline never got old. It’s the perfect spot if you want luxury living in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance. I could go on and on about the kind people I've met at the Whitley, but I wanted to take a moment and particularly appreciate Kari of the concierge staff! What an embodiment of the spirit of the building: a space that is never too busy to be kind! It is because of people like Kari that the Whitley felt like home. I've lived at the Whitley for a little over 9 years and really had a great experience. Located in the heart of downtown, the Whitley is a very nice but laid back apartment complex that gives you access to all things downtown. The Lady Bird Lake walking trail is only 3 mins from the front door; you can get to Zilker in a little under 30 mins walking. The gym definitely gets the job done and I cancelled my Gold's membership after a bit (although the gym is not fantastic it's good enough). I continue to be impressed with the staff. The manager, front desk (Paul, Mitch, and Kerry (sp?) are fantastic), and maintenance staff are all great. My AC went out this morning and Juan and Amir, two of the maintenance staff, had it fixed within the hour. Great service and just high-quality people. After 9 years here, I very much recommend it to anyone looking to live downtown in a very nice but laid back apartment with access to all things downtown.

I can’t say enough good things about The Whitley — it’s easily one of the best living experiences I’ve had in Austin. From the gorgeous, modern interiors to the unbeatable downtown views, every detail is top-tier. My apartment is spacious, full of natural light, and the finishes make it feel like a high-end condo rather than a typical rental. I love the location. It puts you steps away from some of the best spots downtown. Ethan, the leasing agent, was amazing. He went above and beyond during our entire process — professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. He made it a breeze and made me feel right at home from day one. If you're looking for upscale living with a community feel and an incredible team behind it, The Whitley is the place. Huge thank you to Ethan and the entire staff for making this such a great experience!

Writing this review after living here almost a year. The staff is excellent, friendly, and service their residents. Maintenance is very responsive (same-day if timing allows for it) and gets the job done.

Maintenance team is great. Front desk staff are kind. Tenants are collectively good. All in all, good place to live. Management team is mediocre.

Having resided at The Whitley for nearly three months, I can confidently say it's a hidden gem. The community of residents here is incredibly warm and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home. The location couldn’t be more perfect, with everything you need just a stone's throw away. But what really sets The Whitley apart is its remarkable staff, who go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. Special mention to Kari, whose kindness and nurturing presence make her feel like a second mom. Her genuine care and attention truly enhance the living environment. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to call The Whitley home.

I have been living at the Whitley for about 6 months now, and it has been a great time so far. The apartments are well-designed, and the neighbors are pleasantly quiet. The amenities like free coffee are a good touch and the common areas are spacious and pleasant to stay and work in. What truly stands out, however, is the amazing staff. I want to especially highlight our incredible concierge, Kari. She is the heart and soul of this building—always helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring. Kari goes above and beyond to address any issue, making every resident feel valued and supported. Her warmth and energy are unmatched, and the entire building comes alive during her shifts. She’s like a caring mother to everyone here, and her presence makes the Whitley feel like home.

BEST LIVING EVER in downtown Austin- THE WHITLEY. It has been nearly 2 years since we moved into our beautiful apartment here & we couldn’t be more thrilled. We have only very positive , 2 thumbs up, 5 Star Ratings for our Home here. Beyond the warm & local decor in our Lobby, we love our Clubroom, decor & Coffee amenities, as well as our Aqua Lounge . We are so happy it is not the trendy “sterile” grey blandness of many other properties . But note, that warmth goes beyond the decor and shows in our Management & Staff. A huge shoutout to Karlos & Kari who make it an extra special place to live. Karlos is a top notch Manager who extends his creative energy to create a Happy Home for Residents he cares for daily. Kari- At the top in her field as a Concierge- She makes us all a part of a big Family with her genuine affection & compassion for every Resident & shows her passion for her job- she is skilled in demonstrating professionalism & positivity with every single encounter- Now, that’s remarkable! We feel we chose wisely when selecting The Whitley to call our Home!

I recently moved into this building and absolutely love it here! The building is well maintained and my unit is so comfortable and truly feels like home. The staff are friendly and amazing. They respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests. Also, the building puts in a lot of effort to coordinate monthly events for the residents. For example, breakfast and mimosas, yappy hour for the dogs, summer pool party, and much more! It is truly appreciated as we get to meet our fellow residents and get to know the staff better. Pictures are of my dogs enjoying yappy hour 😂🤣 Update: It has been a year and a half now and things are getting better and better. This is absolutely a home, and you don't see that very often in high rise apartment buildings.

I have lived at the Whitley since December 2022 and have had minimal issues living here. They have the quickest and most professional maintenance staff I've ever interacted with. Juan and Beto are especially helpful, courteous, and professional. They even ordered and installed a new fridge for us when the past one had problems. The resident events are also really fun and creative so people actually attend. The only minor issue to be aware of if you are looking to live here is that the elevators frequently have issues which leads to the annoyance of taking longer to get downstairs/upstairs.

The people at the concierge and leasing office (Greg, Paul, and Carey) are really helpful to accommodate new residents.

Greg, at the Whitley might be the best manager in all of Austin. His attention to detail, and hospitality is second to none. Whitley apartments you’re lucky to have him on your staff. I highly encourage if you’re thinking about moving to the Whitley, get a showing with Greg.. you’ll sign before the tours over. Literally.

We have been staying at Whitley a bit more than a month now and it has been great. Everything is well thought and all amenities are kept at the highest standards. All staff and residents we interacted with have been very helpful and welcoming, a beautiful community. We love the pet-friendliness of this place and I am sure our pets appreciate that too. A big thanks to Gregory from the leasing office who has made the process of finding the right apartment at Whitley a pleasant experience with his patience and understanding. He went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our decision to make this community our new home and promptly answered all the questions we had. I am currently living in the Whitley apartments and I must say that it has been an exceptional experience. The units are thoughtfully designed with quality in mind and elegant finishes. The appliances and communal spaces are top-notch, and the location is perfect. The personnel here are friendly and approachable. I appreciate the care shown to residents and their pets, as well as the monthly events organized within the building. My husband and I are here due to a corporate placement, but we enjoyed our stay here so much that we decided to lease one of their apartments to call it home. I want to give a huge thank you to Gregory, the leasing officer. His professionalism, attentiveness, patience, and friendly demeanour made the process of finding our new home at Whitley seamless. I cannot recommend this property enough. If you are looking for a comfortable and beautiful place to live, Whitley is the place to be!

Staying in one of the short term rentals and this is by far one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at! From the rooftop to the great customer service. I recently stayed at a Whitley AirBNB and it was a great experience. I have been thinking of relocating, so i ventured to the office and met with an agent. Charnelle gave me a lot of information and she was very knowledgeable about the area and me moving. Im glad Charnelle was there, she definitely made the decision more clear. This place is amazing! Downtown location makes it easy to go/walk almost anywhere. Concierge service is helpful being 24 hours. Amenities are all so nice and convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful especially Amber.

I have called the Whitley home for over three years now. It is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The apartments are well made and it is clear that they did not cut corners when building them. The management is fantastic and the team goes out of their way to make the building feel like a community.

Honestly, I am proud to call the Whitley home. I just renewed my lease for another 1.5 years and for good reason. The building, staff, and location are all top notch. Unlike other apartments across Austin and especially Downtown, the Whitley doesn't overly place emphasis on superficial features and amenities that distract from what truly matters in calling a place home. First and foremost, the building is just straight-up built well. Minimal noise if any at all between units and absolutely none between floors. Coming from a sound sensitive person, this is a game changer, because so many places nowadays are built cheaply and quickly with disregard for noise insulation. And for being smack Downtown I rarely get noise from the outside. Secondly, the units themselves (updated or not) are gorgeous and equipped with quality fixtures, appliances, etc. I'd say this also extends to the common areas (gym, lounge, pool). Lastly, and most importantly is the staff. Leasing agents, to management, to the concierge all have gone above and beyond for me during my first year here and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Caroline, Holly, and John have all but stopped short of nothing to address any questions or concerns and have always found a solution. Also the concierge staff, especially Santiago and Keri are just the sweetest most helpful folk. Lastly, maintenance repairs are traditionally prompt and never leave an issue unsolved. Ultimately, I can't recommend the Whitley enough to those looking to live in Downtown Austin. Y'all have really made my first year incredible and here's to another :) -Thank you
