Liberty Crest Apartments

We are a retired couple who downsized because we wanted to live downtown. Liberty Crest is a great location. We walk, take the bus or use Trax (especially easy for the airport) when we can. Harmon's is a block away and the mall and theatre alley are just a little bit beyond that. Our 2 bd/2.5 bath with office unit is spacious and has everything we need. This location does not have amenities that we won’t use and the price is fair. The maintenance crew of Alex and Jose have been a constant to this property during our almost two years here and are excellent humans and employees on every dimension. The rooftop with grill is wonderful and the small gym space works. There is 24 hour coffee/tea/chai/hot chocolate available and several work spaces. The building is quiet and the staff of Cowboy Properties are professionals. Due to restricted access, I feel safe here when coming home at night as we have a parking spot inside the garage. The property is well maintained inside and out. There are distinct advantages to being in a property owned by a company with success and experience across the valley.

This is hands down the best apartment I have ever lived in. The staff are incredibly kind and always responsive. Just today, I accidentally dropped my phone, Jose and Amelia went completely out of their way to help me out. A huge thank you to the entire team for everything you do!

I lived at Liberty Crest for 3 years and had a great experience. The apartment was well maintained and cleaned, and any maintenance requests were always completed very quickly. Staff was very friendly, and the leasing office always did their best to accommodate me if I had requests. The walking distance to downtown shops and public transit was a plus, would definitely recommend this complex to others.

The building is exceptionally run. Tim is a kind and helpful manager and the maintenance staff are responsive and pleasant. The building is well maintained, safe, and conveniently located to restaurants, coffee shops and markets. It’s a wonderful place.

This review is long overdue but absolutely needs to be written. I had the best time living here and wish I didn't have to say goodbye. Its a great location downtown and on a quite side of the block. The whole building offers a lot and is always clean and well kept. But what made my stay here so great was the staff! Tim and Hannah are incredible to work with and the best property managers I have ever had. They are both super easy to talk too, and some of the friendliest people I've met! Always helpful, super professional and always there for me. I consider them both friends of mine now and could never put into words how grateful I was to have them there when I was going through some hard times. They were always there to hear me out. Cowboy Properties DO NOT LET THEM SLIP AWAY! They are amazing! And they truly make the place feel like home. Whenever I had questions or needed something, the would listen and take care of it as soon as possible. They really do care and put forth the effort. Also the maintenance team are great guys as well, always had a smile and would talk with me. This place set the bar really high for me, and I will probably never find a place like this again! Also, which isnt listed in the website, there is a place to wash your bicycle indoors. This is a huge feature they need to let the people know! Thank you to everyone there, I appreciate everything! Wish I could have made it a home for longer!

Living at liberty crest is so extremely convenient, it is in the heart of downtown and is close by many restaurants. What truly makes living here amazing is the staff, Tim and Hannah are so incredible and truly care about what they do and the residents they serve. The property is kept very clean and feels very safe with the way the key system works. Overall so glad I moved here.

Our apartment is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully designed. One of the things we enjoy the most is the stunning view to the East, where we can see the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. Every morning the sunlight coming over the mountains creates a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere in our home. The location is outstanding. Being in the heart of downtown makes it very easy to access restaurants, shopping, public transportation, and many services within walking distance. It truly allows us to enjoy the best of city living while still having a quiet and relaxing home. Another thing we appreciate is the professional and friendly management team. They have always been helpful, respectful, and responsive whenever we needed assistance. Late 2025 Update: New manager Tim and Hannah are awesome! More good happening with the place in the last six months than over the past 2 years I lived here before that. Been living here for almost a year at this point and I love everything about it. Very prompt maintenance, free food from time to time as well! Alicia and Melissa are great to work with as well and are very accommodating. I’m proud to call this place home.

November 2025: updating to share that this community was awesome! New management with Tim and Hannah are so nice and always greet you when you see them. You can tell he is proud of his community and have seen him working many nights after the office has closed. Alex and Jose-the maintenance team, keep this community clean and safe. Also coming in after hours to take care of things, for example to activate garage door after down power line. We even had first row seats to the Pioneer Day parade! Thank you Liberty Crest for a great year 💛 Now that I’m about 60% through my lease I can say #1 reason to live here is location. There’s a bus stop right in front. About 5 min walk to Harmons and 10 to City creek/TRAX. Older apartments but calm, clean and quiet. Maintenance crew is very nice and responsive. It’s a 2 man team and I see them working hard around the community to keep it clean and organized. Unfortunately we’ve had to call them for issues outside their control with our dishwasher, kitchen sink and dryer but they make repairs in 24 hrs or less. There’s a parcel locker and room. Never had issues with stolen packages or car break ins. This building has less amenities than other partner communities but price is fair. Only pest I’ve seen are pigeons in the balconies. Gym has very limited equipment and no mirror. Common area bathrooms are always locked so if you want to invite guests for a gathering, they will need to go up to your unit. Same with gym emergencies, you need to run upstairs. Even though we were told no pets allowed, I’ve seen forgotten poop bags in the garage and cafe area along with pet hair on furniture. Office crew has changed a lot in the last couple months. I miss Alicia and Kayden, they took time to get to know the residents.

They have high reviews for a reason! It's always dicey leasing with the "corporate apartment" type of building because often the over-lording management can be ineffective or not care about conditions. Liberty Crest truly changed my opinion on these kinds of properties. The best way I can explain it is they actually treat you like a human and they care if you live or die (iykyk). Maintenance is extremely timely and kind, the office staff keeps you informed and is available during business hours for concerns and questions, and they keep residents up to date on any issues at the property with transparent communication. Honorable mention for the parking garage--most buildings I've lived in have a LOT of issues with the garage doors being broken and cars/bikes subsequently being locked in the garage or stolen if the door is stuck open. I lived here for a year and a half and there was only one issues due to a resident running into the door and it was fixed super quickly. I felt very safe and cared for here and the rent is really reasonable for the area!

Being first time renters Tim Blackwood did an amazing job give us a tour of Liberty crest. He was very friendly and the prices for the apartment was amazing. He was very understanding as us being first time renters he did a great job at giving us all the information we needed.

Top apartment in downtown salt lake. Alicia and Caden are the friendliest and greatest management team I have ever had. Maintenance is fixed almost immediately after putting in a request. Have many events like complementary breakfast, gift wrapping station during the holidays and more. Very clean and well kept building. Also very close to bars, restaurants, shops, etc. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move into downtown Salt Lake City.

Living at Liberty Crest has been a great experience! The building is well-maintained, and the amenities make it a comfortable and convenient place to live. Beautiful apartments in the heart of downtown for a great price. Sound cliche but I have toured many apartments and by far liberty crest is the best bang for your buck. Management is wonderful (thanks Alicia, Alex, Jose, & Kaiden!), controlled acess garage is great, quiet, & the location really can't be beat. Just come tour here and you will see what I'm talking about. I am very happy I chose Liberty Crest!

The apartment management here is top. Thanks to Alicia, Kaiden and the team my move in went super smoothly, and I didn’t have to stress about running around. Lived at Liberty Crest for 1.5 years before moving for personal reasons. Excellent building and place to live at a reasonable price. Staff is very nice, maintenance is fast and effective, amenities are a nice and not overly busy. Optimal downtown location within walking distance to many businesses and TRAX. Highly recommend considering for anyone looking at downtown SLC.

I lived at Liberty Crest for 1 year and I loved my time there. The propriety is well maintain and my apartment was refreshed before I moved in. Alicia, the Assistant Manager, was awesome to deal with.

I rented an apartment from Liberty Crest online from California. Alicia the property assistant manager made a whole process very simple. Property manager Melissa & Assistant manager Alicia answered all my questions over the phone and made this process very simple. I highly recommend them. When I arrived from California everything was in order and it was ready for my move-in. Excellent service.

Living at Liberty Crest has been a fantastic experience. Having made this place my home for almost two years now, I can confidently say that Liberty Crest sets the bar far above other apartments in Salt Lake. The apartments and offered amenities are clean, and greatly enhance the city-living experience. This is the best apartment we’ve ever lived in. Alicia and Melissa are extremely welcoming, accommodating, and responsive. The maintenance team is friendly and they take respond to service requests VERY quickly (I didn’t submit many service requests, but they were all taken care of within 24 hours). The apartment is clean and modern but also homey. Other ways Liberty Crest showed us they care: - Already nice coffee machine replaced with an even nicer coffee machine - Holiday gift wrapping station - Text notification system (air filter replacement reminders, community event invites, relevant apartment updates) Overall, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone thinking of living in the area. We loved calling this home for 18 months and would definitely consider moving back.

Liberty Crest Apartments in Salt Lake City are in a perfect location, close to downtown and the Trax. It's a relatively small building, but the apartments are spacious and bright, and feel less like student housing than other buildings I looked at. The Community Managers are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to create a feeling of community on top of handling leases and other logistics. I've already attended one (very-well attended) organized event in the building and have made new friends already. As a newcomer to Salt Lake City, I couldn't have wished for a more welcoming environment.

2.5 years a resident here. Melissa, Alicia, and the maintenance team all provide excellent care for us and the building is located perfectly.

Alicia, Jose and Alex at Liberty Crest have been super helpful with the occasional issue in my apartment. They respond quickly and professionally when something requires attention and make this a great community in which to live.

The Liberty Crest (LC) leasing experience was simply tremendous! For the last couple of months we worked directly with Alicia the hard working and very detailed Asst. Mgr. She has been so awesome every step of the way. In addition Melissa the very responsive Mgr. (along with Alex & Jose the hard working property technicians) have all been super duper. Everything at move in went very smoothly, LC related things were well explained and the LC apartment unit & building are superb. What a great location very close to everything in SLC. This 5 star review was well earned & quite deserved!

The apartment is in a cool area with lots of shops and parks nearby, so there's always something to do. The employees and maintenance guys are super nice and fix things fast. During our recent lease extension process, Alicia was incredibly helpful, ensuring that the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall nice experience!

Liberty Crest Apartment in Salt Lake City is a fantastic place to live, especially because of its well-designed and spacious apartments. It feels modern and comfortable, making it easy to settle in. I've been living in this wonderful apartment for the past 1.5 years and couldn't be happier with my choice. The location is absolutely prime, right in downtown and conveniently close to my office, as well as a great selection of restaurants and bars. Safety has never been a concern here, and the friendly residents create a warm and welcoming community. The apartment complex offers fantastic facilities, including a well-equipped gym and a comfortable common area. The added bonus of free coffee is a great touch for those busy mornings. The cherry on top is the breathtaking mountain view from the terrace. One of the standout features of this place is the staff. Alicia and Melissa have been incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my time here. Their dedication and willingness to assist make this place feel like home. The leasing agent (Ethan) is super nice and friendly. Unfortunately there are no units available at this moment as it is currently 100% occupied. I would definitely choose liberty crest if there is any 1b unit available because of Ethan's professionalism.

Really patient property management, great location, and quiet neighbors. Gym, package lockers, and conference room are available for everyone. And they host celebrate events like wrapping Christmas gifts with residents. You can enjoy living there with a reasonable price.

We lived here for three years and had a wonderful experience. Management was always responsive and went the extra mile on our behalf. The apartments themselves are great, as are the amenities. If we weren't moving out of town, we certainly would have stayed. Would recommend to anyone!

This is the best place to live in ever! The office (Erin and Annie) staff and the maintenance staff are beyond nice and responsive! Highly recommend checking them and their unbeatable prices and location out!

I have rented for about a year now and this place is wonderful. The apartments are very clean and the whole building is very well-maintained, with a beautiful lobby area and a side room with free coffee and tea, and a conference room that can be requested privately. The workout area has a beautiful outlook to the street, and they have a row machine! The location is obviously stellar, being in the heart of downtown with the Harmons and City Creek Mall just minutes away. Most importantly, their staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I have mostly spoken to Erin who is wonderful and has consistently helped me with whatever I needed, quickly and efficiently. I am posting this during the COVID-19 pandemic and feel like the team here has been exceptionally accommodating during the crisis, allowing for 3-month leases and rent deferments which have been helpful to us. I am excited to continue leasing at this community and couldn't recommend it enough.

I have had THE BEST experience living at Liberty Crest for the past year! Great prices, new building with nice appliances, safe location with secure entry and walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and bars, as well as downtown offices. Most importantly, Liberty Crest has an outstanding staff and property manager, which made my experience extremely positive. They were super helpful and responsive at all times! Would definitely recommend living at Liberty Crest.

The greatest downtown apartment given the facility,stuff, price and location! Walking distance to work, mall and grocery store. Newly built in 2017 so everything is brand new. All appliance are GE brand.

When we were looking for a place to live, we had so many options. We wanted to experience downtown living, but we were so overwhelmed with all the different options. We did our research and had narrowed it down to three different apartment complexes. We visited all three and called them multiple times with questions (I am sure I had repeated questions over and over). All I can say is there was no comparison on the service and friendliness provided by the Liberty Crest Apartments leasing staff. That alone, helped us make our decision. Sure, there were complexes with larger apartments, different amenities, and lower pricing, but we don't regret our decision one bit. From the calls and visits to us moving in, they really did take the stress out of renting an apartment. The friendliness did not change when we moved in. In fact the office manager and the leasing staff went above and beyond by remembering our names and our circumstances for renting. Whenever we visited the office to discuss routine conversations, they would ask how our house was coming along, how work is going, and how we are enjoying the city, and they were genuine about it. The maintenance and janitorial staff were equally as great. We had a few very minor maintenance issues, but they were quick to repair. The halls and building (inside and out) was very well-kept. Now down to the actual apartments: This location was key in making our decision. We were walking distance to social hall, which was so important because my husband and I only have one car. I noticed many tenants also walked to their place of work throughout the week. Parking spaces are included at no extra cost. We rented a cozy one bedroom apartment with adequate space for two. Stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops were nice. Pantry was a bonus for us. The halls and apartments were so quiet, I didn't even realize we had neighbors because I never heard them! Closet space in a one bedroom was perfect, even for the two of us. There was a media charge for cable and internet on top of the rent that we preferred not to have, but in our research we found that is common in renting. The internet was great but I can't provide feedback on the cable, as we did not use it and watched Netflix online. We moved here temporarily while our house was being built and believe it was the best decision we could have made! So much so that we are second guessing ourselves for buying (not really, but you get the point). Thank you Liberty Crest, for making our renting experience the best!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the management, staff, and building of Liberty Crest. The management were incredible to work with and always went out of their way for tenants, including tenant appreciation events and informing us of discounts for local events. The housekeeping/custodial staff do an amazing job, especially for such a large building--hallways were always vacuumed, stairwells were clean, and the gym was immaculate. I've worked with close to a dozen management companies/apartment complexes in the past and have not come close to finding one as professional and enjoyable to interact with as Liberty Crest! Tenants can sometimes be overlooked/forgotten in other large apartment complexes but Michael, Erin, and the rest of the staff always went above and beyond to make sure that not only were our needs taken care of but that we truly enjoyed living there!

I moved here from far away about more than a month ago. Michael and Erin made my move-in very easy. They are always in a good mood towards residents and willing to help with anything. Michael literally delivers packages to your door if you are unable to pick those. In sum, management is the best I've seen. The building itself is recently built, very good looking, great near main Street location with grocery stores and the mall at walking distance. I have always seen everything clean. The coffee bar is always well supplied with great tea selections and some chocolate in the machine. The apartment itself is more than enough for me in square footage. Appliances are very nice and finishes look very good. It was handed to me completely clean along cable boxes and controls. WiFi is provide in your unit. Internet is not the fastest but it works well for normal usage. Media package is not that expensive as it includes cable. However, channels included aren't my best bet. I would prefer to have an option for media packages that I could select to use Roku, Netflix or Hulu etc. Finally, great place to live specially if you work long hours. It is full of professional people. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great place to live, very high quality finishes at a reasonable price and good location downtown. I moved here on short notice from the east coast (due to a work assignment), and was unable to come and take a look at apartment buildings beforehand. Its not a perfect five stars but for sure closer to 5 than four.... in a nutshell heres everything I wish I had known before moving in: PROS -Staff is awesome at this building. They're always happy to help out and shout out to Michael who delivers packages literally to your apartment if you cant make it home before the office closes - Parking Space is included (second one is only 50). Didnt see that at comaprable buildings. - Things like appliances, water pressure, granite countertops etc are all top of line. -Super safe you have to fob in twice to get to apartments. Maybe annoying if you have guests but generally a plus. Havent seen many homeless compared to other parts of the city so thats great too. -Walking distance to Harmons, city creek mall, and some great bars/restaurants. -Shorter term leases are NOT pro rated to be more expensive. -Coffee machine in lounge rocks -Cable/ internet included so you dont have to worry about setting that up CONS - Look at the floor plans online and youll notice theyre totally wack. The bathrooms are unnecessarially HUGE and the smaller two bedroom layout literally doesnt have space for a dining room table. Odd, but if youre not entertaining much you can totally roll with that. Larger apartments have more space for dining/ living but still huge bathrooms. - Tiny aplicanes - theyre new and work great but the dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge are a bit tiny -Many apartments dont have a view (interior/ courtyard) Other things -No pets allowed (but people have service animals). Good news if you have allergies/ get annoyed by barking , bad if you have a pup -Why do I literally never see anyone in the hallways? -Gym is fine not great, but good if you want to clock a quick 30 on the tredmill.

This is a high class downtown apartment for an affordable price range. Freshly opened in May 2017, everything in the apartments is brand new and state of the art. For residents, there are three levels of underground parking beneath the building and the entire property is secured and locked. The lobby is spacious and modern, and the Internet Cafe area has free coffee & hot drinks 24/7. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the parent company (Cowboy Properties) is dedicated to providing quality living spaces while keeping a socially conscious focus.
