I moved in recently, and need to commend the location, amenities, and staff. Excellent location in the middle of downtown SLC, and feels safe due to the secured parking, and the fact that you need a fob to enter the building, the garage, and the elevators. Neighbors are overall friendly and courteous, and the building amenities, including the gym and lounge are top notch. The rooftop lounge is huge gives excellent views of the city. The staff stand out as exceptional. I had an issue with my apartment upon move in. The staff were prompt, friendly, and detailed with their communication, and ultimately helped to fix the issue to my complete satisfaction a very short time after I initially brought it to their attention. If nothing ever goes wrong with an apartment, that's great, but a true test of a management team is how they react when things need fixing, and this team passed the test. Abish, Hannah, Bryan, and Carter all stand out for their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to help. I'm happy so far, and I'd highly recommend this property for anyone looking to live in the heart of Salt Lake.

Living at the Morton felt like living at home. All the staff was so friendly and the monthly events made it feel like a community. Great views, great location in the city - close to everything but not a busy street to live on. Thank you maintenance team for being timely and helpful. Thank you Abish and Hannah for cultivating a kind, warm environment to live in. You all made it hard to leave!

I've been living here since August 2024 and I greatly appreciate how cordial and friendly the staff are here! They're attentive and communicative. They have been making great effort to connect to residents and ensure their questions and requests are addressed. Especially wanna mention Abish and Hannah, and how they have been extremely helpful and kind. The maintenance staff here is also responsive and fixes the issues with great care.

I love this apartment complex! We came and toured and the staff was really friendly and informational. The location of the complex is prime location to downtown with so many coffee shop, restaurants, etc. nearby plus great amenities within the apartment complex. They always have super fun resident events too.

I’ve been a resident of The Morton for the past couple of years, and I can confidently say that I absolutely love living here! The location is fantastic, the management is incredibly attentive and responsive, and the amenities are top-notch. My studio is perfectly suited to my needs and the needs of my fur baby. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a vibey, comfortable and welcoming living environment!

Amazing building with helpful and friendly staff! The units have natural lighting, tall ceilings and big open windows with great views. The common areas are beautiful. Wyatt and Jackson are kind and professional. Highly recommend.

Friendly management, easy access gym. Amazon package delivery can be spotty and the parking garage door is often broken, but otherwise the lounge area is beautiful, BBQ area has the best view in the apartment (pictured). Location is walkable to nearly everything downtown!

Excellent building, and outstanding property manager and staff. Jackson and Wyatt are very friendly and professional, proactively addressing residents' concerns and promoting events to build community in the building. 5 stars.

At the time of writing this I believe I might be the longest tenured tenant in the building. I have lived here for almost four years and have seen multiple sets of onsite management come and go. There have been some ups and downs during my time here, but the current team of Jackson & Tabitha have been absolutely wonderful. Their efforts and changes have made the Morton feel like a community and have added a ton of value to the living experience. Under the last management team I was ready to break my lease and leave. With Jackson & Tabitha I am finding myself sad to move out, and would have definitely stayed if work was not taking me elsewhere.

I’ve lived here for a few years, and the new management is so much better! I previously reviewed 3/5 but the new management and clear efforts to improve the property have changed my mind and convinced me to stay. There are some challenges with noise and ongoing construction. But the building is great, the staff is kind and helpful (thank you Tabytha!), and the location is pretty much unbeatable.

Just moved in, pretty sick spot. Also, the management is big chill, they made the process for me really easy when applying. Not to pricey, people complain about the construction noise but it's not that bad. It's right in the city near some sweet hangout spots as well as places to get groceries at an affordable price. The design of the rooms are also super nice and modern. Overall, the place is pretty okie dokie. -CR

We lived here for 14 months and loved it. The building is clean, the front desk and maintenance staff are very responsive and the location can't be beat. We had a neighbor issue once and the staff addressed it very quickly.

Austin is the best! We loved working with him in considering this community. Although he is new, he was helpful and you could tell he is eager to learn and assist the community.

I’ve been living here for three months and it’s been perfect! The apartment is very spacious with excellent appliances. The property has excellent amenities. The staff are helpful and quick to help. And you cannot beat the location - bars, restaurants, and everything else SLC has to offer all in walking distance. You’ll love it!

The Morton is in a great location, right in downtown SLC. The amenities are top notch, and I can never get over the lovely view from the top floor clubhouse. The community here is also a bit more professional than other locations in town that I've seen, so it doesn't have that college dorm vibe which can really cheapen the living experience. My interactions with the staff has been very positive, and I can't stress enough how good a crew they have here. Jojo is helpful, responsive, and professional as the leasing agent for the building; you can't ask for better service. I've seen her come in on her days off to make sure new residents move in smoothly, that's her level of dedication. Christian has been very engaging with maintenance, which is very refreshing compared to a lot of other buildings/complexes out there. Any problems in the apartment will be taken care of promptly and efficiently. And Kaitlyn is super friendly and keeps things running smoothly. Given how unreasonable some of the tenants here have been, I'm surprised at how positive she keeps her staff day after day, which isn't easy to do when you're the boss. Baby, don't sleep on The Morton! Location, quality, and service in one package, definitely consider it if you want a good downtown living experience in SLC.

Kaitlyn was so attentive to our needs. She followed up with us and asked if we had any questions. I think everyone is stressed right now and I witnessed residents being difficult in the office. I was impressed how professional the staff was (Kaitlyn) while dealing with what sounded like unreasonable requests. (At least to me)despite the fact the problems were there. Kaitlyn was able to make most of the people happy in a short amount of time. I love this place. They care!

I've been looking for a new place in SLC and came in and took a tour. Kaitlyn was professional, nice, and was able to answer every question I had about the Morton and the surrounding area. The Morton is a beautiful building, well designed, and was very clean. Kaitlyn was the best and so thankful for her help in my search for a new place. Thank You again for all the help.

My wife and I have been living at the Morton for about a year now and we absolutely love it here! We are so close to our favorite lunch place (toasters) and in walking distance to all of our other favorite restaurants, and shops! Aside from the area, management is great! Kaitlyn is always so attentive to our needs, and even fed our fish when we went out of town! They definitely make it look, and feel like home! We plan on staying here till our home is built in the next few years!

Kaitlyn was so helpful for me in many circumstances and she has really made the Morton apartment top notch. She is so kind and offers great customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

Have been looking at apartments for about a month, along the Wasatch front and have yet to be treated as well as I was today. Kaitlyn is the best and took me on a great tour and it's very much appreciated! With so many apartment buildings being built, especially downtown, customer service is key and Kaitlyn hit it out of the park. Thank you again for your help, today!

The Morton is a nice, new, super pet-friendly, apt building in the nicest part of downtown SLC. It is walkable to everywhere you would want to go downtown, but surprisingly quite due to its side street location. There are lots of dog owners in the Morton and surrounding apt buildings, which creates a nice community vibe for dog-lovers. And, crucially, Kaitlyn and Jojo in the front office are genuinely friendly and helpful. The amenities are nice, too! Highly recommended!

I didn’t think I could be infatuated with a home this way, until I toured the Morton. The photo’s online reveal just some of it’s beautiful luxurious appeal, and even some of the quality of it’s construction and design, but to be in it, is a whole other thing. Trust me. You should. I felt inspired as soon as I spotted the building on the street. I am a designer and an artist, and have always dreamed of living in a truly inspired environment. Inside, the way that it feels, from the office staff, who I got to know, who are the BEST and will do anything for you, (thank you Jardee!!) The furniture and art selections. The attention to detail in the floor plans and layout and weight of the fixtures, doors, hardware beautiful appliances, incredible amenities. Breathtaking city views. I literally found my home here, on a flight layover. I said to my family. I found my home, there is nothing to decide! I am in love with my life right now and jealous of myself! Ha ha ha. It’s that good. My favorite features are: The staff The way the bedroom has light from the patio and walks to a huge walk in closet with stacking washer and dryer to the bathroom that also is accessible from the living room....GENIUS design. The gorgeous modern minimal kitchen, also with beautiful, perfect appliances How solid and well constructed everything you look at is The parking garage The location, right in the best area of the ‘city feel’ in SLC Out of my windows, in looks like I could be in New York!! So much luxury here!!! The roof top...OMG...wait till you see it! With fire pits, which will be so fun when it snows! Imagining the fun neighbors I’ll meet! Can’t wait to work out in front of that view in the gym! Can’t wait to put pretty green plants on the patio and spend time out there with my cat. I apologize for being dramatic/ excessive But...I wasn’t sure I could leave the home I’m in now, until I found this dream come true. Still pinching myself! I’m dying. Can’t wait for move in day!

My boyfriend & I have been living here since November 2019 & have loved it. Before moving here I lived at another apartment called Joshua Tree that was an absolute nightmare. This place has seriously been a dream in comparison. The management is sooo nice and helpful. The maintenance is also very kind and helpful though we haven’t had any issues within our unit to need him to come by. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Overall, The Morton is a fantastic community to live in! I've been a resident since February of 2020 and have nothing but good things to say. Friendly staff, clubhouse overlooking downtown, fitness center, and rooftop with breathtaking views of the mountains makes for an incredible place to live. Appliances are all of high quality and the gas range is a nice luxury. Jardee and the leasing team are always available and very helpful with the move-in process. Would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury apartment in downtown SLC.

The Morton is, in my opinion, the Best Apartment Complex to live in downtown... The staff is super friendly and super respectful. They make you feel right at home every day. The mail system is great as well... I have absolutely no issues or complaints with this complex & it’s a beautiful, spacious, safe, and secure place to call home right in the heart of downtown! I definitely recommend The Morton to anyone looking to move into the downtown area! At least stop by for a tour of the place if anything. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Finding the right place to live is a process (and especially a big deal if you’re moving out on your own for the first time). The Morton not only checked off all my boxes but included amenities I hadn’t even thought of. AND the staff was incredibly easy to work with as a potential tenant. You can go on their website and see the list of all their amenities (some of my many favorites include: valet trash service, the package lockers, the apartment’s keyless entry system). What you won’t find on the website, that only a resident can confirm, is that The Morton offers security, convenience and a friendly and easy-going staff (you’ll see them every day or will have to work with them when something comes up). I love the stylish and modern apartments (I was able to look at several layouts), how quiet it is here (I actually didn’t think I had next door neighbors because I can never hear them), and the prime location with grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, banks and more all within walking distance. The Morton is downtown living at its best!

The Morton’s two biggest highlights are its location and the unbelievable staff. It is close to every type of entertainment downtown has to offer. The apartments have beautiful layouts and modern amenities, but the wonderful people who work here are what makes this a comforting environment to live. It was quite a transition moving cross country, and I’m glad I made The Morton my new home!

We have been living at the Morton since it opened in October. There have been a few minor hiccups (which is expected with a new build) but the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure we have a good experience and that everything gets taken care of in a timely manner. Very impressed with Jardee and his willingness to help out, and we absolutely love our unit!

I’ve been living here for about 4 months. Not only are the units, clubhouse, and gym absolutely stunning but the staff is incredibly friendly and equally helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking!

Been living at The Morton since the end of December and I absolutely love it. Any problems or issues I encounter the management is quick to respond and help. Location is absolutely great: walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, parks, etc. Apartments are beautiful with tall ceilings and windows, new stainless steel appliances, and efficient layouts. My place has cement floors, which I love, and floors 5 up have laminate/wood floors. My place is south facing and gets great light. Gym and club room on top floor are great amenities as is the the package delivery system the building uses. As someone mentioned before, location of your unit plays a big part in your experience. Anything directly below the gym and club house area will probably get a lot of noise, and anything directly above the garage and new game room will probably be the same.

Great location, you can absolutely live her without ever using a car. I have been living here since November and I have had a great experience with the staff so far. After a few horror stories with my last complex, this is a breath of fresh air.

Beautiful and well maintained property. Friendly and approachable apartment managers. High level of security: key fob multiple points downstairs, touch locks on the doors, smart home, package lockers. Apartment life is quiet. On site gym is convenient. I decided to do the 6 weeks free with a 13 month lease. They allowed me to put some of that credit towards my security deposit. Maintenance is quick to respond to issues (within 24 hours non emergency). The only downside is the lack of guest parking (there are no designated spots) which is inconvenient. Guests need to park in the pay spaces in front of the building. Simply put, life is pretty good at The Morton.

The management here goes above and beyond to help you with any concern you have. They are great! The building itself is gorgeous and the apartments have every upgrade you'd want. You can't beat the views or location of a downtown apartment. The only negative I've had so far is the noise. It's a younger crowd that lives here and that's reflected in the noise in the hallways and neighbouring apartments. Overall it's a great place to live and I'm glad I chose this place over the other options I was considering.

Moved in the middle of November and have never lived in an apartment community so clean. The staff are always on top of everything. Jardee and Daniela are amazing!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in the downtown area.

I moved into The Morton in December. I love the location! It’s a short walk to Main Street light rail, lots of my favorite restaurants, city creek mall and the Gallivan center. The apartments have high ceilings, nice appliances and hardwood floors, but the best feature is the large floor to ceiling windows. The apartment gets so much light and I have a great view of the mountains! The staff here are great! They are all friendly and super helpful, every time I’ve needed anything they get right back to me and it’s taken care of quickly.
