Hardware Apartments has exceeded every expectation we had coming in. The apartments themselves are gorgeous — clean, quiet, and beautifully appointed — but what really makes this place stand out is everything beyond the unit. The amenities are phenomenal. The pool and community spaces are stunning, the parking garage has plenty of room, and the location puts so many great spots within easy walking distance. The community events are genuinely fun, and it's clear the staff invests real time and effort into making them happen. Day-to-day, everything just works. Communication from the office is efficient and thorough, the parcel locker system makes deliveries effortless, and when I had one maintenance issue shortly after moving in, it was resolved quickly. Even the neighbors have been a pleasant surprise — everyone we've met has been warm and welcoming. The staff at Hardware deserves real credit, but Johnny Romero in particular has gone above and beyond. He made our entire experience — from tour to move-in — completely painless. He was quick to respond to every question, attentive to every detail, and his professionalism set the tone for what we've come to expect from Hardware: nothing short of excellent. If you're considering Hardware Apartments, don't hesitate. And ask for Johnny.

I am extremely satisfied with the Hardwares Maintenance Team and the entire experience of moving back into the complex. The maintenance team was quick, efficient, professional, and very friendly throughout the process. Their responsiveness and willingness to help truly stood out and played a major role in encouraging me to move back here. I also want to recognize Johnny for the outstanding support he provided from start to finish. He made the entire process simple and stress-free, answered every question thoroughly, and consistently made sure everything was handled smoothly. I was touring many places and I have to say Seija Was the most authentic, kind, real, and honest leasing agents that I dealt with. With. Also the pool, the layout of the hardware. The apartments are luxurious and airy. Jonathan Romero has been tremendously helpful with application and post move in assistance as well. He is really friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend Hardware.

It took me 6 months to pick an apartment complex. As a busy executive, I wanted the perfect atmosphere, community and support. I toured every building with a common area and pool in the SLC area. When I walked into hardware and met Jonathan, I knew I was home. I told him that day that they were by far my favorite. I continued to tour and continued to believe that! Jonathan was amazing. He knew exactly what I was looking for and he kept me updated. As soon as my ideal choices opened he let me know and was extremely patient as I passed things by due to travel and other personal reasons. When we pulled the trigger, he walked hand in hand with me through the process (it’s been a long time since I lived in an apartment) and he made move in so easy! He was patient w me as I forgot how to do certain things or asked dumb questions because I was too busy to read all the incoming information. He made my moving day super convenient and easy. I can not say enough good things about him and hardware is lucky to have him! Hardware itself is an incredible community and the perks are lengthy. They have amazing common areas which make you feel like you are living in a mansion. The people I’ve met who live there have been nothing short of friendly and welcoming. And the location is over the top with a top coffee shop, restaurants and a full grocery within blocks. I’m so happy in my choice!

I’ve lived here for about two years and it has truly felt like home from the start. Jaymen and Jaquie are absolute sweethearts, and the entire leasing office team is incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The neighbors are friendly and the community has such a warm, positive energy. It’s rare to find a place where the staff genuinely care about the residents, but that’s definitely the case here. So grateful for the amazing experience living here, thank you all for everything!

I can’t say enough about my experience with Johnny Romero at Hardware Apartments. From the very first tour, Johnny truly listened. I’m in a transitional season of life and have a demanding travel schedule as a senior healthcare leader, and he took the time to understand exactly what I needed — from layout and size to lifestyle fit. He even stayed late to make sure everything was set up seamlessly. The level of care, patience, and genuine human connection he showed made all the difference. He treated me like family. That experience is ultimately why I chose Hardware Apartments. The amenities are outstanding — especially the gym (good enough that I canceled my outside membership) — and the location is ideal for airport access, I-15 connectivity, and walkable downtown dining and coffee spots. But it was Johnny who represented Hardware with excellence and made this decision easy. Grateful to be here and thankful to have Johnny as a continued resource throughout my lease.

My mom and I are moving across country into two separate apartment units with multiple pets. When I toured the community, I knew it was the place for us. Couldn’t be any more impressed with my experience living here. The amenities are truly incredible, the rooftop is unmatched. The staff is amazing. We have worked with Johnny for the most part and he has been so great to work with. He has gone out of his way to help us with any questions we have had and always responds super fast. He helped us on his day off and even showed up hours before his shift to give us the keys on move in day. Johnny was a big reason why we decided to move in here. Would recommend this place 10/10 times

I just made the move to Hardware from another place downtown and the front office here is amazing. My husband and I just moved back to Hardware this month and we could not be happier! Fun fact, we were tenant number 6 when the building first opened in 2018. We moved out in 2021 because of family health issues, which was not an easy decision to make. Not only are we thrilled to be back, but we had the most amazing experience with Johnny Romero. He made it a seamless experience and truly cares about the tenant experience. If you want to live in downtown SLC, this is the place!

The hardware apartments are my favorite apartment complex on town bar none. I love their Ayn Rand Themed mural and lobby. Julie helped me out today with moving a customer out by reserving the elevator for us which is always super helpful and makes the day go by smoother. Thanks for everything!

I had a great experience touring an apartment with Calie! She was incredibly professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the property. Calie took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and never made me feel rushed. I really appreciated how transparent she was about pricing, amenities, and the application process—nothing felt pushy or sales-y, which is appreciated. If you’re looking for an apartment to rent- look no further. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The bigger reason to move here is because of Joseph Barraza, the maintenance lead, who not only fixes any/all problems quickly but makes sure every resident is happy and safe. Joe is hands down the best team member at Hardware that exemplifies hard work and trustworthy to enter your apartment. I hope he is getting paid well for his amazing work done around the building.

As a recent transplant to Salt Lake City, I toured nearly 15 buildings before deciding on Hardware — and there was no doubt in my mind that this is where I wanted to be. The leasing team has gone above and beyond to make my time here nothing short of exceptional. I stop by the office daily with my dog (who’s a big fan of the well-stocked treat jar), and it’s always such a pleasure to be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Sarah, who originally gave me my tour, has been an especially bright spot throughout my time here. Her professionalism and warmth really stood out from day one. The fresh chocolate chip cookies don’t hurt either! The maintenance team is also fantastic — they keep the building in top shape and are always quick to respond to any concerns. Hardware truly delivers a one-of-a-kind luxury living experience. As a side note - would highly recommend the townhomes, having a two story unit, with concrete walls and ceilings has made living here feel more like living in a quiet, standalone home, with apartment complex amenities.

I was very impressed by the Leasing Managers Sarah and the tour that she gave to a friend of mine as I tagged along - After viewing all of the amenities with in-depth details and options, I was even sold on looking into getting a place at Hardware Village. Sarah was such a welcoming and down to earth representative that definitely made use both feel at home. I would recommend Hardware Village to anyone who is looking to step up there game at a decent price.

I just moved in to Hardware Apartments (about two weeks ago) and I wanted to leave a review on how impressed I am with the community and specifically the management. I have lived in a couple apartments before and none of them compare to the experience I have had here so far. The buildings themselves are beautiful and the design details are something to be appreciated. The gym and pool are far above average for an apartment and I have already taken advantage of them both. I specifically wanted to shout out Sarah and Julie who work in the office. Sarah gave me the apartment tour originally, I signed the lease that day, and she has been so helpful ever since. I was moving here from across the country and she stayed in communication, helped me get all the necessary paperwork in, and answered numerous questions I had about logistics. Once I arrived she continued to check in on me, answer a billion questions I had, and see to any requests I had immediately. Julie also was super helpful in helping me locate some of the many packages I had delivered and answer my mom and I's numerous questions we had upon arriving. All in all its been a really great experience and a great community to move in to. My dog and I are loving it. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to live in a nice spot downtown!

The entire staff at The Hardware have been fantastic — from management on down, everyone has been stellar! I’ve had a great experience living here. I especially want to highlight Jay, who has been amazing to work with. He’s always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. He’s quick to solve problems and truly cares about the residents. Pros: Hands down the most beautiful location in SLC and great location. Amazing amenities. Residents are on the whole great neighbors. And the office holds a lot of great events. The maintenance and cleaning crews are really quite amazing as well. If I'm the front office/management team - I would do everything I can to reward and hold on to both teams. Cons: The walls/ceilings on the west building are a bit thin. You can hear stepping, music, etc etc. Not terribly bad but it's noticeable. You do get used to it though and worth the tradeoff. Also, just note these buildings are next to the train stop. Amazing for commuters. 2024 was a bit rough though with trains holding the horn everytime they came to the stop. (day and night). This was related to the city related issue of quiet zones. Not at all the fault of Hardware. Just know you're right next to the trains so you'll likely hear them. (again, generally not overwhelming). Other: Starting out - the leasing/move in process was brutal and mostly came down to communication/tone/process with the front office. I downgraded my apartment right at the beginning with plans to exit early due to these challenges...but stuck around. However - the experience at end of the lease has been one of the best experiences I've had in the many states I've lived. Just amazing. I have been relocated to another state and the front office this time around was exceptionally helpful in working with me to find a solution that was more than fair. They were patient, worked to find a solution, and were a pleasure to work with! Hugely grateful to the team and can't thank them enough for their patience and communication!

Yesterday, our apartment community hosted a movie night, and I am absolutely thrilled with how wonderfully everything was organized. The cozy fireplace, a stunning Christmas tree, and the big-screen movie in the company of neighbors created the perfect holiday atmosphere. What made the evening even more special for me was something I’ve been dreaming of since early fall—mulled wine. Coming from Europe, where it’s such an essential part of the winter season, I’ve missed it so much here in the US, as it’s not something I often come across. But tonight, Kelcee made my dream come true by preparing the most delicious mulled wine, along with hot cocoa and popcorn for everyone to enjoy. Kelcee, thank you so much for organizing such a magical event. Your attention to detail and thoughtfulness truly made this evening unforgettable!

Absolutely Beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful!

Nov 2022 I recently relocated to SLC from San Diego and needed to line up housing rather quickly before departing SD, which didn’t allow for me to tour any complexes in person. I worked with Tais in the leasing office and was pretty nervous/anxious about the commitment I was making without seeing the property, neighborhood, etc. Tais completely understood and handled everything in a way that put me at ease. She provided me multiple videos of different available units and exercised what must have been great patience when dealing with my many questions over many phone calls and emails. This is a large luxury complex that undoubtedly requires much from its staff on a daily basis, but I never felt that way. I felt important, appreciated, and as though I were the only person that needed something on the days that I called … a ridiculous notion given the size of this operation, but that’s just how professional and courteous Tais was with me. I was literally looking for any reason to not sign the lease … anything at all that felt off and she never provided it. I signed and am thrilled I did … this place is AMAZING! I truly feel lucky to be living here. Tais is absolutely wonderful, but it definitely seems like the entire staff is equal to the task of keeping this complex in the impressive shape it’s in. Thank you Tais, you’re very much appreciated. **UPDATE** Nov 2023 I recently completed my lease and renewed immediately. I didn’t need to think about it. I didn’t need to make a pro/con list. I didn’t need to consider other neighborhoods. This is a first me, as I usually suffer from analysis-paralysis with apartment living considerations and a desire to try living in different neighborhoods of the cities I live in … not this time! Hardware is still the BEST and renewing my lease was a genuine no-brainer! *** SECOND UPDATE *** Nov 2024 I blinked my eyes and my lease was up for renewal again. This time I was almost lured into signing a lease at a brand new property considered to be at a comparable level to Hardware, at least in terms of amenities and overall luxury feel. They were offering such an extraordinary move-in deal that I would have been saving $500 per month PLUS they were throwing in a $2,000 prepaid Visa card. I held the unit that I liked and entered the leasing phase, which would have been completed the next business day. I went on to have a sleepless night filled with regret … I realized that I couldn’t leave The Hardware. The Hardware is just too good to me as a home and Whitney and her team just do too good of a job running the place to gamble with the unknown. Instead of saving $500 per month, I lost the $300 I paid the other complex to hold the apartment I backed out of … and I feel great about it! I’m so happy to enter my third year at Hardware and I feel certain that it’s just not possible to live anywhere else that has a management office equal to this one … these folks just operate on another level and it’s just not worth leaving here. The peace of mind that comes with being a resident here is invaluable. Thank you Whitney!

Lived here for just short of two years. I'll start by saying I think the cost for value is there for the most part. Pros: amenities are great, space is clean, maintenance is quick to respond, trash valet was 99% reliable. Location wise it is pretty convenient to the city and highway. They used to host a lot of fun events when we first moved in but pretty much stopped for the better part of a year. Cons are that the parking garage is a nightmare, they tried to make the most out of a small space and it's genuinely dangerous the way people drive in it. If you like having friends and family over to visit, they're going to have to Uber because public parking is practically non-existent, even more so when there's an event going on at the nearby Delta Center or Union. Also the main demographic of this building is dude's in their mid 30s to early 40s who think they're Don Draper because they got a 19 year old on Hinge to go out out with them once. The kind of men who let doors and elevators shut in your face behind them and have big gross dogs they don't leash. They also switched management right as I moved out and the new people aren't the brightest crayons in the box from what I've gleaned. Ultimately, the main reason I moved out was that I wanted a change of scenery, this is an okay choice among the growing number of "Luxury" communities in Salt Lake City.

Sara is the best leasing agent. Highly recommend working with her. She always has a warm smile (very important in customer service). The building itself gives a Peaky Blinders feel to it. Clean, smells good and the amenities are what sold me. Beware the sound of the train is VERY loud and wakes me up several times at night.

I just moved into Hardware apartments and there is a very good reason for that. The team is friendly, professional and helpful and the quality of customer service is impeccable, especially Joseph, the maintenance guy (he wears an LA cap :)) is amazing. Joseph takes pride in his work and has a sense of humor, which makes you feel at home. His service level is really top-notch and beyond that his attention to the details is what makes the difference. Management he needs a raise!

I've lived at Hardware for over 4 years now and worked with a number of different onsite property managers but the new crew is THEE BEST! Jamond has gone above and beyond to help with the renewal of my lease! I was on the cusp of leaving until he took the time to site down with me and address my concerns and options! I couldn't be more satisfied with his approach! Ethan has also been instrumental in help facilitate any concerns that have came up! The crew is very responsive and professional! Needless to say I renewed! Looking forward to another 12 months here!

I love living here :) The amenities are great and the staff is fantastic and quick to respond to our concerns and needs. Joseph is always willing to help and he does it with a beautiful smile on his face!

Living here has been absolutely awesome. The little details are always taken care of. Management has always been friendly and accommodating. The maintenance team is absolutely incredible. I noticed Alex painting the bottoms of some of the worn out furniture legs, putting in new mulch outside among other small details. Things that most places would completely ignore. Another time when our the plumbing under the sink was flooding, Manfret and Andrew came and fixed it within minutes from telling them it was happening. Joseph and Brian are also awesome and really hard workers always making sure all the paint chips from people moving are painted over almost the next day. Seriously cannot recommend hardware enough! The only possible complaint I have about living here is that our unit doesn't have a double vanity. Although some of the units here have them so we'll likely be upgrading soon ;) PS. The coffee is great!

This place is great! Have a friend that was looking at different apartments in the downtown area and Max was very helpful in pointing him in the right direction and showing us around the complex. Can’t beat the rooftop pool and hot tub!

Karina is so sweet and so helpful! She puts in so much effort into helping with anything you might need! Getting my first apartment was very stressful but she was extremely helpful and patient. Joseph is very hardworking every time I see him! He's always willing to give a helping hand! Max is also very helpful with the apartment application. Whenever I have big packages he always carries them for me.

We’ve lived at Hardware for two years. We love the amenities. The pool and social areas are fabulous. The employees that have made our stay here memorable and easy are Jospeh from maintenance, Max at the front desk and both of the night staff, Jesse one and two! While there are always issues at any rental complex most of ours have been with rude tenants, the ones who don’t clean up after their pets or are disrespectful, the staff really tries to make your stay comfortable. If you communicate with the staff they take care of your issues.

We could not be happier with our choice to live at Hardware Village! Relocating from California, we strongly considered buying a home, but changed our minds when we discovered all that Hardware Village has to offer in terms of location, building and unit aesthetics, incredible amenities and the exceptional leasing and property staff. Now, we cannot imagine leaving!

Hardware is incredible! The industrial style is so beautiful and top notch! I absolutely love their rooftop swimming pool and sports lounge! I met with the manager, Whitney, and she was very informative, really helpful and kind. I definitely recommend you come check out this amazing space! You will not be disappointed!

This apartment complex is beautiful, what really caught my was the infinity pool on the roof such a great job on the build. Also the maintenance staff is super friendly aswell as the leasing office staff, I would totally recommend my friends and family to live there. It is also conveniently located next to the Delta center which makes going to events a breeze.

I have been here for a year now and I love this place. I don’t understand all the negative reviews. It’s an apartment complex, there is going to be noise and/or footsteps. It’s not the management’s fault. No matter where you go, while living in an apartment, this will be an issue. The concierge‘s, maintenance team and management, especially Whitney, have always been helpful and are there when you need them. Things got way better once Whitney took over too. All you have to do is call the right numbers and the teams will happily help you. The fact that this place has someone on site overnight, 7 days a week is so cool! Tell me another place that has that? Especially living downtown. It’s such a cool and aesthetically pleasing place with great amenities! There’s even a coffee shop that is able to set up every day that is wonderful and convenient. Yes, the pool is currently out of order and awaiting repairs but the property management is doing all that they can to get it fixed. At least the hot tub is running great! This place also has a beautiful gym, and some amazing views on the rooftop. I feel safe and welcome here. And you’d be lucky to call this place home!

One of the best options for downtown living in the city. I’ve lived in the building for 4+ years now and love everything about it. Amenities are great, residents are well mannered and respectful in the shared spaces, and you can’t be the sauna on the rooftop.

I got engaged in one of the clubhouses and it was the cutest set up! The room was perfect. Andrew was very prompt to make sure it was clean so that we didn't have to worry about it and just focus on celebrating.

It moved in the hardware, and I would like to say throughout the entire process of applying all the way to moving in has been nothing short of easy, stress-free and super helpful. This is thanks to two. Amazing ladies Tais Pacheco, and Corina. Corina handled my application, and whenever I needed help was always there with just a quick phone call away and she’s super knowledgeable. Tais helped me on moving day and was nothing short of exceptional. Whatever I needed she was always there to help like giving me a special loading dock to move all my stuff and no my apartment so much easier. These two women are absolutely amazing and I’m so glad that if I need anything else. They’ll be able to assist me.

Moving from out of state is stressful, but Karina and the leasing team at Hardware Village have been so helpful! So far, I’m really enjoying the building, the amenities, and location of Hardware Village. I would recommend this property!

Karina went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and seamless move for me from California. The staff has been responsive and accommodating to any concerns- and this ultimately streamlines the wonderful amenities the complex has to offer.
