How consistent is the rating

Swings a lot±0.9

Its rating has stayed within about ±0.9★ of its average over time — it moves around more than most buildings we track. (This measures the wobble around the average — the change-point above is the average itself moving.)

Biggest dip: −2.6

Sharpest stretch: fell from about 4.7★ to 2.1★ around Mar 2025, and has stayed lower since. (A different window than the Jul 2021 change-point above — this is the steepest short-term move, that's the sustained shift.)

Measured from the rating weighted by how many reviews back each month, so a single review can't swing it. Sourced, not scored.

I love living here! In addition to the secure building and a great location near downtown, theaters, restaurants and activities, the new managers are great. They maintain the complex much better than the old management and communicate with the tenants so we are always aware of a leak being fixed or the elevator being serviced. I really appreciate the communication so we know the minute something is fixed, etc.! Any maintenance issues I have had were taken care of within 24 hours (sometimes immediately). Thank you, JH

Wonderful place to live! 😀 2.5 years living here… peaceful, great neighbors and atmosphere, clean, organized, and safe. Management addresses issues in a timely and respectful manner. Alexus, the property manager, is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I wish I could rate a 10 stars instead of 5.

    Cleanliness

I have lived here over 1 year. I love the location. I can walk to all the nearby stores, and love hiking to Memmory Grove Park. The apartments are very clean. They have a cleaning crew that comes weekly, which I appreaciate. Colby is super helpful if you need anything. It's very quiet, and I never see anyone around. Love this place.

Clean, modern, great amenities, gym, game room. Downtown and close to everything. There is an amazing sushi restaurant across the street and many others dining options within walking distance. Great property and great location!

  • ★★★★★Dec 2020

The staff is stellar. Really the best I’ve had being that I’ve toured at least 25 apartments and lived in 5 downtown. The gym was perfectly sized allowing me to cancel my gym pass.

I have lived here for 6 months and LOVE it! I went from the worst experience to the best! Renting in the Salt Lake Valley can be a challenge with all the extra fees and constant management changes. I did not want to get locked into a lease then regret it. This has not been the case at Salt Flats. Colby was great to work with, and the rent structure breakdown is simple and straightforward. The options for secure garage parking and storage units inside the building are very reasonable, and convenient. Having everything in one secure building, including the gym is a luxury. I have incredible downtown views and a beautiful unit, and the location just adds to a great place to live. Most of all this building is managed and Colby cares about the Salt Flats experience which is a must for me. I highly recommend this property. I have no regrets and my experience here has been AMAZING, and worth every penny.

I am happy to move into this great apartment. The manger here is very helpful and help me a lot for setting up the furniture in my apartment. This place is at the downtown of SLC, and lots of restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy around here, which is convenient. The manager even put some plants inside my apartment.

I've lived in Salt Flats for about a month now and have had a wonderful experience. The property manager Colby and staff are kind and very responsive to questions and concerns. Apartment was clean, appliances brand new and functioning when I moved in. The common spaces and gym facilities are neat and very relaxing. The area is great for people new to Salt Lake City - lots of great restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Definitely the most bang for your buck compared to other properties I looked at (which were older and overpriced!). Overall a super positive experience and I recommend the building to anyone moving in the area!
