Ive been living at the village for 1 semester now and its a great place to live. The amenities here are great and an easy way to meet people. The living area in the apartments are very spacious and great for having people over. The village has been a very social place to be living and compares well when looking at other places to live.

    Fees & rentMaintenance

If you like to social, village creates lots of opportunities for that by doing monthly big events, basically for free. There are many facilities here (pool, hot tub, gym, pickle ball court). Maybe I was just unlucky, the hot tub and pool closed twice for maintenance and it took them quite a while to fix them. The rent is definitely expensive because of the facilities and events here. It is about $740 or up for rent with utility. Also, application fees and other fees are included for application. So you might want to consider that before signing up the contract here. But in general, it is a very comfortable place to live, close to BYU campus and UVX bus stop. If you prefer quieter places, village might not be a place for you because the events here can get pretty loud but if you like to have fun, you will definitely have so much fun here.

    Management responded

Thank you, Allie, for sharing your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoy the social events and facilities we offer. We appreciate your patience regarding the maintenance of the hot tub and pool. Your insights on the cost and atmosphere are valuable for potential residents. Maintenance

The village is a good place to live. I like how close it is to campus and the amenities it provides. The rooms are a little small but that’s how most places are around here. I haven’t had many maintenance problems in my time living here, but when I do they are always quick to respond. For some reason this year we have had our water shut off kind of frequently, I don’t know if they’re doing some type of work or why that is happening. Usually it’s only shut off for a couple of hours and they always warn you when it’s happening.

    Management responded

Thank you, Avery, for sharing your experience. We're glad to hear you appreciate the location and amenities. We understand your concern about the water shut-offs and appreciate your patience during these times. Your feedback is valuable, and we will continue to strive for a comfortable living environment.

I've been living at the Village for a little over 2 months now and I have loved it. The apartment is a good size and the appliances are all nice. We had an issue with our oven once but maintenance responded quickly and fixed it. The amenities at the Village are great, and help promote a fun social environment. Overall it has been a great experience.

I have lived here for close to 3 years and enjoy it! It’s on the pricier side in Provo, but you get a private room and in-unit washer and dryer. The pool/hot tub and gym are great amenities and there’s always fun stuff going on whether through the complex or those who live here. Maintenance usually responds pretty quickly, but I’ve had a couple of minor issues with delays, so going to the front desk always worked out for me. The only complaint I have is that with valet trash being a thing (which is great tbh) people leave their trash in the hallways and it can get smelly. I wish it was communicated more clearly when trash pickup is bc a lot of residents aren’t aware/dont care

    Management responded

Thank you, Rebekah, for sharing your positive experience and feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoy the amenities and community activities. We appreciate your input regarding the valet trash service and will consider ways to improve communication about pickup times. Maintenance

I have lived at The Village for a little over a year and I have loved it. The apartment itself is spacious and updated which is super nice. When I first moved in our dishwasher and laundry machines weren't working but maintenance was quick to replace them! The walk to BYU campus is 5-10 minutes depending on where your class is which is so nice because I don't currently have a car. It is also a very social complex and there's always something going on. My bedroom window does currently face a brick wall, which I was pretty sad about, but other than that the rooms and bathrooms are perfect for all of my things and have so much storage!! The people that work the front desk have always helped me when I had questions and they are the sweetest people. The amenities are great, the gym and indoor pool are really nice (especially the hot tub in the winter). I love The Village and couldn't have asked for a better living space this past year!!

    Management responded

Thank you, Kayla, for sharing your positive experience at The Village. We're delighted to hear that you enjoy the spacious and updated apartment, as well as the convenient location and vibrant community. It's great to know that our maintenance team and front desk staff have been helpful during your stay. We appreciate your feedback about the view from your bedroom window and are glad that the overall storage and amenities meet your needs. Thank you for choosing The Village as your home!

Have loved living here so far! Proximity to BYU campus is great, the amenities are nice, and staff is kind. My room faces the courtyard and sound is amplified, so it is frequently very noisy and loud at night. There have been a few parties that shaked the walls in our apartment. There is also a predatory towing company that focuses on the visitor lot here, so be careful to register with UPA if you visit. Trash valet is the thing I dislike the most about living here. The halls are always full of trash and stinky and they charge a fee for it. Overall this is one of the better places I’ve lived in Provo, would just recommend picking a room that faces to the north or south.

I have loved living at the Village so far! Great amenities, and everyone is super friendly and social! Only a few setbacks. First, the rooms are small, which is okay if you're aware of it in advance. Just know that the rooms are not big. Second, the mail and packaging system is terrible—especially the mail system. We have not been able to access our mailbox, and one of my roommates almost lost a card and $100 from her grandma because of this. I hope that in the future, they come up with ways to improve this. However, besides this, the rooms are nice and clean. The office staff are also very nice. Overall, I recommend!

I love living here. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The ammenities are nice and I love the big pool and hot tub. I will say excluding the prices of living there it’s a great apartment. Pool, hot tub, mini gym, outdoor grills, a little mocktail bar and it’s super close to campus. Very well maintained buildings and pretty decent rooms and kitchens compared to many other complexes. If you’re willing to pay a bit more than normal for around the area you get private rooms, in apartments laundry, full kitchen. The only downsides are the crazy expensive(80-90 a month) parking passes, and the rent increasing. It’s been yearly since I’ve been here but the. Never had any problems with repairs.

    Parking

I've been living at The Village for two months now, and my overall experience has been nothing but positive! I'll admit, the rent is higher than almost any other place in Provo, but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for, and The Village is no exception. The amenities are fantastic, including a pool, hot tub, and a well-equipped basic gym. I’ve used all of them, and they are consistently well-maintained and clean. One of the biggest conveniences is that all the apartments come with a washer and dryer, which was a must for me when apartment hunting. The valet trash service is another great perk—just leave your trash outside the door, and they take care of the rest. It’s incredibly easy and hassle-free. One downside is parking. It can be difficult to find a spot, which can be frustrating. For the first week, I didn’t have a designated parking spot and ended up getting a ticket. I would spend about 15 minutes every day trying to find parking when I came home. Provo is notorious for strict parking enforcement, so when I was finally offered a spot, it was a no-brainer to take it, despite the steep monthly cost. Parking fees are common in most complexes anyway, and I feel it's worth it. Without it, I’d likely be paying just as much in parking tickets or towing fees. A couple of weeks ago, my sink started leaking, and I submitted a maintenance request that morning. As soon as the office opened, a technician was in my apartment fixing the issue. I’ve been really impressed with the management team. A lot of people give them a hard time, but in my experience, they’ve been responsive and professional. As long as you treat them kindly, they reciprocate. Getting packages is easy, but the mailboxes are not great. The combination lock on mine is very touchy, so I have to ask the office to open it with their key, but they’re always happy to help. Maintenance staff always leave things clean after any repairs. Sometimes the students living here can get a little rowdy, and you might wake up to random messes around the complex, but management is quick to clean it up, keeping the property looking professional, safe, and clean. Overall, I’ve had a great experience here so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing my stay at The Village.

    Management responded

    Maintenance

I just started living at The Village a couple months ago. So far, I haven’t necessarily been disappointed but I haven’t been impressed. I love how I’m so close to BYU, it’s only about a 10 minute walk to campus. I do like the bathroom setup and our laundry room. The maintenance staff has been very prompt and helpful too. My room is a good size and I can fit everything in my closet. I love that there is a trash service, so you only need to set the trash outside of the door. I like that we have an amazon locker, pickle ball courts, and a volleyball net. Having the Vibe close is kind of fun, and I’ve loved the events that have happened so far. The kitchen is a pretty good size, however there is no pantry, so I find it hard to fit all of my food and pots and pans and stuff in the kitchen. Another little annoyance I have is that the tile and countertops are textured and multicolored, so it’s hard to tell if they’re actually clean. Some might think that’s nice because you don’t have to worry about it being clean, but I find it frustrating and gross. We have a tiny little balcony which is fun I guess, but you can barely stand on it, and there’s no screen, so you can’t even enjoy a little breeze without bugs coming in. I haven’t loved our ward here, and the culture just hasn’t been my favorite so far. Overall, it definitely is a nice place to live, and I’ve just been a little nitpicky about it. It feels very safe and it is comfortable despite some of the “flaws.” As for options in Provo, this isn’t a bad.

    Management responded

Thank you for your detailed feedback, Lindsay. We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the proximity to BYU, the amenities, and our maintenance staff's promptness. We also appreciate your constructive comments about the kitchen storage and the balcony. Your input helps us understand where we can focus our efforts to enhance the living experience. I’m not sure what these other people are talking about, I honestly think the Village is way nicer than most places than Provo. Maintenance is pretty responsive, amenities are cared for, the apartments are pretty nice, and there’s no hidden fees; just rent and utilities (and parking if you choose to get it, which is pretty expensive but not necessary). Sure it’s pricey, but it’s not bad for what you’re getting. Been living here 2 years and I’ve enjoyed it.

Sad to see all the negative reviews of this place, but then again it’s been over 10 years since I’ve lived here. I was one of the OG people when it was first built and known as the great and spacious building in Provo at the time. So this is my review from over 10 years ago. In the beginning it was pretty pricey, but what they offered was really good. They use to have a soda shop/food there where you could grab something to eat (might be gone now). I like how they had a hangout room upstairs with TVs to watch the games and pool tables. It was also nice to have an outdoor volleyball place to play and the underground garage. When I was there the doors were always unlocked so pretty much anyone could come in. At that time it was still pretty safe, but soon they started to lock it more due to theft. I don’t remember management really being present, but it was pretty easy going. The building consisted of rich kids or athletes at the time since it was pretty close to BYU campus if you went there. Overall it was a 4 star before and the parties there were fire. But I guess now they have really dropped. I guess good things can’t last forever. RIP

Two of my kids lived at the Village a couple years ago when they were students. Our third child will move in this August. My older two had really good experiences there, and that's why our youngest also wants to live there. As it has so many units, it's easy to get multiple friends into apartments together, unlike other Provo student apartments where you may only be able to get a single contract for an apartment and not be able to move in with friends. The location of the Village is particularly great for BYU students. It's nice that it has underground parking (but note that you must request this early and pay an additional fee each month to have a spot). The social life was great and overall my kids loved living there. You should expect that communicating with the management staff only really works via email or in person. Calling them is ineffective. But we've had great response by email and been able to coordinate leasing together for a number of friends this year. The leasing staff have been very helpful and responsive. It's been a pleasure to work with them.

The Village is great. Super nice apartments. The rooms are slightly small but you have a washer and dryer in your apartment so that’s a bonus. Rent is reasonable. Maintenance is quick and super good. They fix stuff promptly. Staff is always super nice and friendly.

Great place! Love how social everyone is. I always run into friends on the elevator. It is less than a 10 minute walk to BYU campus. They have trash valet which is so convenient!
