Moon Apartments

Kind of old and run down, has been very mismanaged in the past but the new manager is very attentive, very involved in making the complex run smoothly and keeping it on track.

I loved almost about it and would have given it 5 stars except for one major problem. One of the main things that attracted me to Moon was the reserved parking. I was told that you would pay for a parking stall and then that stall was yours for the rest of the semester. If anyone tried to park in your stall without permission, you could boot or tow them. This was all fine and good until the day came when someone actually parked in my stall without my permission for about 25 hours. I was pretty upset as I had to park far away and on the street. I called three different boot and tow companies in Provo and every single one of them told me they could not boot the car because Moon was not contracted with any of them. The next day I asked the manager which company they were contracted with and I was told they are contracted with no one. Because they are contracted with nobody, no boot company can do anything to any car in Moon's lot. Any random person can park at Moon anytime with absolutely no consequences. In other words, Moon charges its tenants for reserved parking but does not actually provide reserved parking. I feel this is dishonest, and I have a big problem with it. As long as this remains the situation, I cannot recommend Moon to anyone.

I loved here for a year and a half. The managing staff are usually very helpful and willing to do whatever they can to resolve your issue. The maintenance man is very kind and very skilled. The apartments are nice, but a little small for the price vvi would suggest living here because it has very good access to BYU's campus.

Moon has positive and negative things about it just as any other housing location near BYU. The place isn't necessarily updated, but most household items function properly. If not, maintenance is "only one call away"! (Charlie Puth) People might say it's a bit expensive, but it is important to consider that Moon is so close to campus and that is a great benefit! I think it's a great place to live if you know how to clean. ;) Managers and such were WONDERFUL to me at least. Overall a great experience.

I have lived at Moon Apartments for coming up on 4 years and have never had any major problems. Maintenance responds very quickly to urgent maintenance needs. If it is a minor fix, it may be put off for a day or two if there are other urgent needs. The complex is very close to campus. It is reasonably priced for being so close. I pay $289 per month for a year round contract. The owners are very nice and only ask you to leave the apartment in the same way you found it. Cleaning checks during the year are a breeze but are more intense when someone moves out of the apartment. When someone is leaving, you are supposed to really deep clean the apartment so that it looks good for whoever moves in (just like it should be when you moved in). You are given a sheet to write down any problems you see with the apartment when you move in. There are no unreasonable requests for cleaning checks. As long as you don't let your apartment become disgusting there will be no problems. You buy a parking spot and have that spot for the year. If another resident parks in your spot you can call the manager and they will either direct you to an open spot or they will contact the person and ask them to move it. If a non-resident parks in your spot, you can contact the manager to either have them booted or towed. I would definitely recommend living here.

Super convenient to be so close to campus with my wife using the car for work and school. Great pricing and amenities with great neighborhood and nearby parks.

Good BYU housing. The main advantage is the proximity to campus. Management is pretty chill, but keep things nice. Stayed one semester.

Love this complex! The management is super nice, pretty much everything is taken care of same day or next day. The apartments are typical of college housing, but they're certainly not in bad shape. They have the amenities expected of a college complex. Washer and Dryer hookups! (In some buildings, not all) Never had a bad experience with these guys. I highly recommend it.

Moon is great, the management is super friendly, the apartments are good, the location is awesome. Solid college apartment.

I never wanted to stay at any complex for over a year but I ended living at Moon for two years and had a great time there. The ward has an awesome culture and I met some of my best friends there. It's an older complex and with that you can expect a problem here and there but management is good to you and if there are problems they address them quickly. It's close to campus and not too pricey.
