I lived at Westwood for two years while attending BYU, and in my opinion it’s one of the best budget-friendly housing options for students. My rent was about $400 a month, utilities averaged around $30, and there was free street parking. It’s roughly a one‑mile walk to campus, the ward was social and welcoming, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for the price. The in-unit washer and dryer were a plus too. As for downsides, management was slow to respond to calls and messages. When I first moved in, the apartment hadn’t been cleaned at all—there were beer cans everywhere and the dishwasher was clogged with old food. I later learned that no one had lived there over the summer and some homeless individuals had been staying in the unit, and the complex hadn’t cleaned up afterward. Once that initial issue was resolved, though, the apartment itself was great and I had a really positive experience living there overall. Would highly recommend living here.

    Parking

I had such a great experience living here!! The management was very responsive and the price is extremely affordable for the living it provides! There is always parking available and it’s near a cute park and trail by the river! I appreciated the in-unit laundry as well. I highly recommend living at these apartments!! p.s. they have the BEST couches ever!!

    MaintenanceParking

I lived here 4 months and had to leave because I’m getting engaged. Incredible management who is super responsive and easy to work with to find a replacement tenant. The apartment is also very high quality. Beds, oven, stove, A/C, heating are all far above average than other apartments in Provo. Plus the monthly expenses are very well priced. Extremely comfortable place. Final thing I need to rave about is the excess in parking. Parking in most places in Provo is generally a nightmare. This place has 2 parking lots for a $10 pass, but I have always parked on the road and have never had any problem finding a spot.

Very cute and modern apartments! Appliances and furniture is all new! Management is great at communication and super quick to respond to any questions or issues! There's limited storage/organization space, but for the price it's great!

I am a big fan of Westwood!! The management is super helpful and willing to help with any issues or concerns and the apartment is super nice and updated!! I would definitely recommend :)

    Amenities

Westwood’s is a great place to live. The management is great and the needs of the tenants are typically well met. The apartments are nice and in good shape. The only downside is the limited space in the bathroom and kitchen and it’s hard to find storage. Other than that it’s a great experience!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Parking

I’ve enjoyed living here! Management has been awesome. They’ve always responded in a timely manner and are super helpful. The parking lot is small but there’s plenty of street parking.

    MaintenanceParkingAmenities

I have lived here for over a year and it has been great! The new management is awesome and is very timely with repairs and communicating with us. The few downsides are the counter space and parking can be a little difficult at times, but you can always find a place.

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

Me gusta donde queda ubicado el apartamento esta muy cerca a todo! Los Managers ayudan mucho cuando necesitas algo y es cómodo.

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Amenities

The apartment is very nice! Granite counter tops and new appliances. However the space is small; no kitchen table and limited cooking space in the kitchen. The bathroom is nice and the room is a nice size for shared with a walk in closet! Management is great and very responsive. I would recommend living here just beware of the small kitchen space

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

The management is so nice and everything is up to date and clean! It is pretty close to the shops and when construction stops it is close to a bus stop.

  • ★★★★★Oct 2020

I love Westwood! There are very spacious rooms and the management is super friendly and quick to respond. Definitely recommend!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

I love living here! It is definitely a comfortable place to live in. Our living room is so cute and management is awesome. I love that we have our own washer and dryer in our apartments too!

  • ★★★★★Oct 2020

I love living here, such an awesome establishment. The neighborhood is safe, the apartments are newly remodeled. Management has been nothing but helpful the last couple months of living here.

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Maintenance

It’s really small, there is VERY limited kitchen storage and your room is the only other place you can store things. But they have been renovated so they look nice. Also there is a huge couch and roku tv. I mean it isn’t the nicest place I’ve lived in but don’t have too many complaints. The managers are good to come fix things when needed and have always gotten back to me with any issues about our apartment.

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Amenities

I have LOVED living here at Westwood!! We have a washer and dryer, dishwasher, lots of storage space, a smart TV and a HUGE couch that’s so fun when hanging out with friends!! There isn’t a table, just a bar which has taken some getting used to but I don’t hate it. The managers are super helpful and respond quickly to emails, I’ve been super grateful for that. The location is also super nice! I have honestly loved it! I definitely recommend living here ❤️

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

I really like Westwood. I think management does really well at helping the best they can in a timely manner. And the apartments are really nice. The only down side is a small kitchen counter, but you can always work around that! :)

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Maintenance

These apartments are pretty nice for the cost. Little things break here and there, but they're usually pretty easy to fix on your own, and management is super willing to help if you ask them. The apartments look really nice and are comfortable to live in.

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Maintenance

I love having the updated appliances, including two fridges and a washer & dryer for our unit (for first floor units the washer & dryer are in a small, separate room right outside the unit). Living rooms have a super comfy sectional couch! The rates are great and management is extremely helpful and quick in response to questions and issues! My only concerns have been with leaks in our sink, bathtub, and closet, but have received a lot of quick help with these.

  • ★★★★★Oct 2020

This is such an amazing apartment! And the managers are amazing. Every time we need something to be fixed, they are there at your door that same day to help you out.

    ParkingAmenities

I've only lived at Westwood for a few weeks now, but management has been so great and helpful! When I text questions they always respond within a day or two and want to help as best they can. The apartment itself is also super nice and all appliances are new. Beds are so comfy and are memory foam. The only drawbacks are that counter space in the kitchen is very limited and that there is little cupboard space (although there is a pantry). Even though I don't have a parking pass, street parking is always available and not far away. The farther distance to BYU campus is also a con, but definitely worth it, especially because rent is SO cheap compared to other places around BYU!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Maintenance

I love that they offer private rooms! I'm paying barely more than the tiny shared rooms I've had at other places in the past. Management has been so nice and accommodating when we have a maintenance request or just questions in general :)

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    Amenities

The management is wonderful and always willing to help with whatever we need. They respond quickly and always make sure we are comfortable in our living space. The only thing living here is it’s small. Small kitchen, small bathroom, and small closet/ storage space. There is also no table and not a lot of counter space. Other than that the appliances are very nice and it has been an enjoyable to live here!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

The apartments are a little small, but the apartments are newly renovated and management is super awesome and helpful!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    ParkingAmenities

I would definitely recomend living at Westwood! It has a washer and dryer, two fridges, the units are all updated for a great price, management is very dependable, and there is always available parking. The only drawback is that kitchen counter space is very limited and there is no actual kitchen table.

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

We love it here! Nice furniture and everything is new. Management is awesome and the price is great! Only complaint would be little storage room, but other than that the apartment is wonderful!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

The new managers are kind and accommodating, I love the location of this apartment and having a bus and ryde stop close by.

  • ★★★★★Oct 2020

The management is absolutely the nicest people I’ve ever met- worth living here just for them in all honestly. New updated appliances, cute design, two fridges, great location. I love it here!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020

Westwood is super clean and new. It’s a great price for what you get in the apartments. Also the property managers are really nice and responsive!

  • ★★★★Oct 2020
    MaintenanceParkingAmenities

Definitely made a good decision moving here. The apartment is a good size for the amount of people living in it. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 girls each, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, 2 fridges and a Roku tv. There isn’t a kitchen table, just a butcher block bar on the wall, but we eat on the couch anyway. The managers are super nice and respond fast to emails and texts. They are also quick to respond to maintenance requests and they keep you informed about any news or changes. There are few cons about the apartment. One is that the pantry is kinda small for all of us, you may have to share a shelf. Also, there is minimal counter/prep space in the kitchen, but you can always use the butcher block. Lastly, the parking behind the building is very limited and tight. There’s a good amount of parking along the street (but watch where you park because you’ll get ticketed if you’re too close to a corner or sign) and the other parking lot around the corner is a little creepy to walk to and from at night alone but I’ve heard it’s worse closer to campus. Those are my only complaints. Location wise, there’s a target and maceys close by as well as a dollar store, Walgreens, chick fil a and Sonic. It’s literally right across from the hospital.

This is my second year living here, and I’m so grateful that they’ve hired new on site managers. The last ones were so rude and arrogant towards everyone, and I was dead set on not renewing my lease because of the way they treated me. I’m glad I changed my mind though, because the new management has made a world of a difference! They’re really great about communicating with us and fixing things quickly. They also have the cutest little baby, so that’s a huge bonus 😉 About half way through last school year, I was honestly so fed up with management that I went through the BYU housing contract and ended up getting the housing department involved... and we got barstools out of it! So now we can actually sit in the living room and not have to eat on the couch. I believe every apartment has barstools, so it’s been a really nice change. The only current downfall of the apartment is the lack of counter and cupboard space. I really like to cook, and the kitchen just seems like an afterthought in the design process. Part of my studies is in interior design, so it’s something that does bug me quite a bit. But overall, it’s been a nice place to live. The apartment is so new and updated. I absolutely love the washer and drier because they’re not old as dirt like most places in Provo. When looking for cheap student housing in Provo or Orem, this is a great place because you’re not sacrificing comfort and aesthetics to get affordable housing. We also have an amazing ward and an even better bishopric!

  • ★★★★★Oct 2020
    Fees & rent

I have loved it here at Westwood! The apartment itself is very nice and comes with a really awesome sectional couch and roku TV! I love the two fridges as well! The management is VERY helpful and respond almost immediately to questions and concerns! It feels clean, safe, and well taken care of - which is not always something you find in Provo housing. It really is my FAV apartment complex so far!

  • ★★★★★Sep 2018

So far, so good. Management is really good at communicating. They are aware that there are some problems due to all the remodeling but are trying their best to make everyone happy. Though the outside is still under construction, the inside of the apartments is beautiful.

  • ★★★★★Mar 2018

As of 2018, there are new owners and new management. All the apartments are being remodeled completely, the housing is turning into BYU-approved singles housing for men and women, and the owners and management are working to make it a positive experience for everyone.
