I passed by the leasing office to check out these apartments and Erin and Kayla are very friendly and easy to work with! The apartment complex looks well maintained and clean.

Summerwood is conveniently located near Utah Valley University, making it a great option for students. The complex offers nice accommodations and fosters a welcoming, community oriented environment. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtfully roommates were matched, especially for incoming freshmen, which can make a huge difference. The office staff have been incredibly helpful and attentive. When we unexpectedly needed to sell our contract early due to health issues, the team was supportive every step of the way. Savannah and Kayla were especially outstanding, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout the process. I truly appreciate the effort and professionalism of the management team. I would absolutely recommend Summerwood to anyone looking for off campus housing.

I love living here. It’s my second year at Summerwood and I still have nothing bad to say. Savannah, Kayla, Erin and Charles are great. Especially Charles, he’s the maintenance guy who always finds a way to fix things when are needed. He’ll even take time to explain how and why things are going on which is super helpful.

The manager Kayla H was very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. She goes out of her way to help her residents.

Boy oh boy do I have good news for anyone looking for an apartment. This is simply a terrific property and Kayla, my wonderful tour guide, might be the most helpful person I’ve ever met. Right away Kayla was so warm and inviting and answered all of my questions. Kayla clearly knows the property well and if I could give her 11 stars, I would. The property itself is well kept and maintained, and the few residents I saw were very friendly. The apartment itself was clean and tidy and I believe it is a complete and reasonable price. After finishing the tour Kayla thanked me and it made me want to be a better man. She was very helpful and frankly the single most helpful guide I’ve ever had, and I hope she continues to uplift this wonderful complex and brighten others days the way she brightened mine. 5 stars.

I have loved my time at the apartment and I really enjoyed the team that worked there. Savannah was a very down to earth person and I never felt like she was trying to sell me on living here. She genuinely cares about people and has your best interest in mind.

I stopped by Summerwood recently for a tour while I’m finishing up college at UVU. The place was nice and well taken care of. I liked all of the amenities that they have (TV, basketball court, ping pong, etc.) and having an underground parking lot with all the snow would be very nice. The office staff were all great (Savannah, Kayla, and Erin), and I was also able to meet the maintenance supervisor, Charles, who was really awesome. I can see myself living here, and I think anyone going to UVU should consider it.

I recently toured Summerwood and was thoroughly impressed. The location is unbeatable, right across the street from the campus, convenient to shopping, restaurants, and transit. The amenities are modern, the grounds are well-kept, and the whole place just feels welcoming. What really made the difference, though, was the exceptional service from Savannah, the manager. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt comfortable and well informed. Not once did I feel pressured; instead Savannah answered all my questions with patience, helped me weigh my options, and made the entire process feel smooth. Thanks to Savannah and the team for making this a great experience!

I’m going to be real. Living here was life changing! I love everything about it! Savannah especially is the game changer of Summerwood. She makes the place 10000x better! I highly recommend it here! If you go to UVU this place is perfect for you!

You can tell that management really likes their work and wants to do well. Savannah was particularly helpful. Super grateful to be somewhere that really cares about their tenants !! ❤️❤️

I don't get all the negative reviews. The location isn't the best because its next too the highway but its also right next to UVU. Liv in the front office is really helpful. The move out process could use an update and same with the pluming in the parking garage. The WiFi is not at gibibyte speeds. It caps out at 200mbs. Not a bad place to live. Savannah and Charles are pretty great.

Summerwood is so nice! The managers are incredibly friendly and know everyone’s names! The apartments are clean and homey. And it is right next to UVU within easy walking distance. What a lovely place to live!

EDIT 2: They gave me a large amount of my money back. I completely understand them not paying for all of it, so I'm bumping my review back up to 4 stars as a result as a thanks. I would recommend this place. Just be wary of the price! EDIT: I'd like to add that management has been very communicative and explained everything to me. I'm still frustrated, and I still disagree with some of the reasoning, but I can understand their perspective. No change to my review unless something happens, but I will say they are willing to talk things out, and I can appreciate that. I just moved out after 3.5 years of living here, and I was really ready to give this place 4.5 stars! When I moved into my place, the walls had a ton of marks and scuffs that I couldn't fix. I told the management about this, and they told me it was all fine and it would get taken care of. I lived here for 3 years after, and it was alright, but definitely some problems with management, but it improved over time. The maintenance guy is absolutely amazing though, highly recommend him! The problem is the price, and what happened when I was moving out. This place is EXPENSIVE. SO EXPENSIVE. Every year the rent went up a ton, I was paying $705 after utilities by the end of my lease for a 4 person apartment which is just crazy. The security deposit is why this went from 4.5 to 3 stars. I was told the markings on my wall would not cause a problem with my security deposit. I scrubbed and cleaned my walls as best I could, however I was told it didn't meet the white glove standards and they could scrub more off the walls. That's whatever, frustrating, but then I'm told the carpets across the apartment need a "scent treatment" and I lost $20 from that as well, despite my rooms smell being perfectly fine! My roommate even agreed, and he's super sensitive about smell. (He said it smells worse after they treated it lol) So yeah. I get they're strict about the place, but it wasn't ideal when I moved in anyways. The cabinets were dirty when I moved in, and my room had lots of chipped wall paint and such, so I don't understand how that couldn't get addressed and how now I get charged for that, but it is what it is. The people here were nice and kind to me, and despite my frustrations, I still could recommend this place. Just be aware of the frustrations. Shoutout the maintenance guy Charles however. He was amazing at every turn!

Management has been really good with working with my roommates and I for cleaning checks and very understanding. Just make sure you do what is required and follow the rules. They could have a nicer gym but they always listen to what we have to say. Also the maintenance guy is amazing he is always on top of our requests and helps us with what we need!

Pros: I rented here for 2 years during college. Its a pretty good deal for students who want their own room while going to college. Which I find very important personally. It is also a 15 min walk from UVU making it very convenient for going there. The amenities were all decently good, and any issues with them can be fixed for free via a maintenance request. The maintenance guy, Charles, who does most the requests is also great, very friendly and he usually shows up within half a day of a request being summited and gets it fixed quick assuming no additional parts are required. I would also say the desk staff are very friendly and helpful and have been accommodating to issues I've had. The apartment also has underground parking, which is really nice for keeping your car out of the weather. Cons: The biggest issue with summerwood is that it is right next to the freeway. About half the rooms get noise pollution from I15 which is constantly busy. Even at night there are often drivers going 100+ mph which can make it difficult to get to sleep. Another issue is the cleaning checks that are done. Every few months staff will post a cleaning list that each person in an apartment must get done, or they are fined $50. This does help keep the apartment clean but can be annoying. Another issue is that the outside of the apartment is rather dirty. There are a lot of gum stains, cigarette buds and other gunk that doesn't get cleaned up around the apartment walkways. Conclusion Personally I would recommend Summerwood, especially for UVU students. I don't find the negatives to be that much of an issue and I think the positives outweigh them.

While it is a bit expensive for what you get, every place around is jacking up their prices and generally every place in the area is more expensive than you would think for what you're getting. That being said my experience has been way more positive than negative, work orders are fulfilled quickly and unit quality is a priority here. Glad to have lived here 2 years.

The highway makes it hard to focus on anything or even sleep sometimes. Also I don’t like that the cleaning checks make us look like we don’t even live there. Dishes are never actually put away every hour of the day because they have to dry, so it’s annoying when I’m assigned the kitchen and have to keep reminding my roommates to put their dishes away and it’s awkward. Listen, I was stressing. I also don’t like that they’re raising the rent prices a bit just because they’re adding a trash pickup. I can take my trash out myself, I’m an adult. I don’t want to pay extra for that new service. I only want to pay for what I need because I’m a broke college student. Solid 4 out of 5 stars

The best part of this apartment complex is the very effective and efficient maintenance. Every time something gets damaged, Mr. Charles Manrique repairs it very quickly. I 100% recommend his very efficient staff.

I had no issues. The staff were great and the place was nice. My kid spent 4 years there going to UVU and we have no complaints. It was a positive experience!
