I recently moved into my new apartment, and I have to say the experience was made so much better thanks to Georgina. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and professional. She took the time to answer all of my questions, made the process smooth and stress-free, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled with care. Georgina’s exceptional service and genuine kindness did not go unnoticed. She made me feel welcomed and valued, which means a lot when transitioning into a new home. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and personable—she is truly an asset to the community, and I’m very grateful for her support.

Maintenance did great on my needs and did it very quick. Very appreciative of that. The staff is very helpful and kind as well

I don’t usually write reviews unless I’m truly happy with my experience, and I can honestly say living at The Emerson Apartments has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’m a single mom dealing with serious health challenges, and I was going through a very difficult time when I came here. I explained my situation, and from the very beginning, the team made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The level of empathy and understanding here is truly unmatched. I honestly don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a perfect rating. It deserves a 10 out of 10. I’ve been here for three months now, and I’m so happy. The process of getting into my apartment, the beautiful view, the peaceful environment, and the respectful neighbors have all exceeded my expectations. It truly feels like home. The location is incredibly convenient. Everything you need is within walking distance, Smith’s, restaurants, fast food, and even healthier food options. You don’t even need a car to live comfortably here, which is a huge plus. There’s also a gas station nearby, a dentist right behind the complex, and one of the best hospitals in Utah, University of Utah Hospital, just minutes away. For families, it’s also close to Herriman High School, which is a great school. Maintenance is reliable and efficient. They use an app where you can submit requests and even choose how you want to be contacted or when you want them to come, and they actually respect those preferences. Every time I’ve needed help, they’ve responded quickly and taken care of everything. What really makes this place special is the sense of community. From day one, they provided me with resources to help with everyday needs, food assistance, support programs, and services for families and kids. They regularly leave helpful information and event invitations at your door, including opportunities for free food and community events. It’s clear they genuinely care about their residents. They’ve even added a dog park, which is a great bonus for pet owners. The property is clean, well maintained, and always feels welcoming. If you’re looking for a place to truly call home, somewhere that not only provides a place to live but also supports you as a person, I highly recommend The Emerson Apartments. They are understanding, helpful, and willing to work with you when life gets tough, as long as you do your part as a responsible resident. This is, without a doubt, my favorite place I’ve lived, and I plan to stay here for many years to come. 🫶

just want to say that I’ve been looking into moving out of state, contacted this office from a referral that was given to me, and the staff was so helpful and friendly! They were super informed and respectful, I’m actually so grateful for this type of referral! If this is a look into what it will be like if I lived there, I’m so glad I’ll be dealing with this staff. Georgina had me laughing with her sense of humor (very much appreciated) and also made this feel so much less stressful. Thanks to the office staff!

I recently moved here and have nothing but positive things to say. The property manager Bridgette.. Amazing 10/10! Sh She was BEYOND helpful and went above to make my move in experience stress free and easy. I have Nothing but good things to say about her and Georgina helping me get settled ! Overall the staff is wonderful. Also it’s a great community. 🤗

I went to get information about their apartments. The office is really nice and the AC felt so good since it was a hot day outside. I hadn’t realized they are affordable housing until Georgina went through all the prices, fees and asked about my household size. Unfortunately I did not qualify, but the overall experience was great! I appreciate how friendly she is and that she’s bilingual.

I was recently helping a good friend of mine look for affordable housing and the office girls were fun and easy to work with they offered me a fresh brewed cup of coffee with their Keurig. Totally made me feel very comfortable.

The parking situation used to be so bad but now that they are enforcing the towing policy it’s been so much better! Also Gina is fantastic!

I had a friend in a pinch and needed a new home quickly. I reached out to the management at Emerson to see if they could help her. Gina was amazingly helpful, they were able to get her paperwork done quickly, approved and moved quickly!

The apartment has been great so far, and the office staff has been amazing to work with. Even though I called every day to check on my application, they were always more than happy to help me.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE! These wonderful ladies were able to get us in within a matter of days. Any issues that it may have come up were resolved in no time at all, and they were not issues with the apartments themselves. They were simply hiccups along the way, not their fault at all. The apartments are absolutely stunning and they are incredibly spacious, they are so quiet and very safe. These were my first apartments as a a young adult at the age of eighteen, and they are our first as a married couple and both times have been absolutely spectacular! (Also... they gave us extra off of their move in special, which is going to give us a FANTASTIC head start. Thank you ladies, we appreciate that more than you know. It was a joy to receive it, of course, but that boost is exactly what we needed to get on our feet. We were in such a pinch, and you have given us so much comfort and stability. You never feel like you are on anyone's nerves, you never have to worry about maintenance, not coming, the office is never a cold environment and if anything, you look forward to going in there! You never have to bug them for a response. All of that aside, you also have the aptly named Thrive Program! They've got resources on resources to help you thrive. Not just be on time with rent or have a number to call if you need help with utilities, you're going to thrive. Do your part to take the steps with these resources and you will thrive. They will make sure that you have everything you need to grow! This is not just another complex, this is a place where you will truly be happy, comfortable, and safe. If you are not sure where to go, pick the Emerson! You absolutely will thrive whether you are a kid moving out on your own for the first time, a single professional, or a family. These apartments have everything you need to launch yourself into a great place, both literally and metaphorically. God bless you ladies, thank you for everything you've done for us! This complex is the best one I have lived in. The front office is always nice and welcoming and the maintenance crew is always on point with the repairs I needed in the past. The gym is always clean and it just got a renovation too. Im planning to sign another lease when the time comes.

Great place to live if you’re looking for affordable apartments specially in the Herriman area, the staff is great I had a hard time finding a place. I came across this apartment complex and they were able to help me out in getting my own apartment. I highly recommend this complex great place to live It’s been safe and quiet and clean

The staff here and community have been amazing! So accommodating They have all been so understanding and flexible in working with me and have all gone above and beyond! Georgina and Liz are absolutely amazing!!!! These two ladies are beyond professional. They care about people. They were both willing to help in a critical time of need, for my daughter and grandchildren. They are not only willing to help get you into stable housing, but also support you with various resources and connections. Everything these ladies do is to support families and provide a stable quality of life. I am beyond grateful for their services and support. The apartments are clean, spacious, and managed with care. If there are any problems, all you have to do is reach out to them and the issues will be resolved in a quick and effective manner. Family oriented community and a safe space for everyone, who is need of housing. They offer various programs for renters and make it easy to complete the move in process. I am just absolutely amazed, at how well these ladies oversee their properties!!! I have lived here for many years. The office staff is always helpful and if I ever have a maintenance issue the guys come at a reasonable time. I hardly ever have to call them. Also, the community events are always awesome. I like meeting my new neighbors.

Was gonna wait until I no longer live here but i decided to sign another year on. The management is great, maintenance is great! All super helpful & fun to talk with. Super great with the kids & the animals. This is my 2nd year here. I had a bad bug problem the first year but sprayed extra early this year & seemed to make big difference. 😅 ive seen some bad reviews on here but I think its lack of respect & patience. Be respectful & patient with the management & they will return that to you. Be kind! I will say my only continues issue is the neighbors dont like picking up the dog poop even when they were seen & asked to. JUST CLEAN UP!! Management does tons of fun activities for the kids & neighbors all year long. If rent was cheaper id stay as long as I could 🤣

Absolutely loved my time here! The apartment is modern, bright, and has fantastic amenities. The management team is incredibly responsive and kind. It was a perfect and peaceful place to call home. Highly recommend!

I recently moved to this city and into this community, and it’s been a solid experience so far, something I appreciate since I came from out of state and had never lived in Utah before. The property is always clean and well kept, and it feels like a good place for families. The views are pretty cool too, but what sets this place apart is the support from the management team. They’ve been on point every step of the way, especially Georgina, who helped me before, during, and after the move. No complaints so far, and I believe moving here was a smart call.

He vivido en este complejo de apartamentos durante aproximadamente un año y, sinceramente, mi experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Desde el principio, todo ha sido bastante tranquilo y cómodo. No he tenido problemas importantes con el mantenimiento, y en las pocas ocasiones en que ha sido necesario arreglar algo, el equipo de mantenimiento ha respondido con rapidez y eficiencia. Siempre son muy profesionales y amables. Una de las cosas que más disfrutamos como familia es el acceso a la alberca. Es un espacio ideal para relajarse, especialmente en los días calurosos, y también aprovechamos las áreas para hacer parrilladas y pasar tiempo de calidad al aire libre. Estas pequeñas comodidades hacen una gran diferencia en el día a día. Otro aspecto que valoramos mucho es la seguridad del vecindario. Nos sentimos protegidos, ya que el complejo cuenta con vigilancia constante, especialmente durante las noches. Es evidente que la seguridad es una prioridad aquí, y eso nos da mucha tranquilidad. Además, cada vez que he tenido alguna pregunta o he necesitado apoyo con algo relacionado con mi apartamento, las señoritas en la oficina siempre han sido muy amables y atentas. Se nota que les importa el bienestar de los residentes y siempre están dispuestas a ayudar con una actitud positiva. En resumen, estoy muy contento de vivir aquí. Es un lugar cómodo, seguro y bien administrado, ideal para cualquiera que busque un hogar en un ambiente agradable y bien cuidado.

I’ve had a great experience living here! Bridgette and Liz have been absolutely amazing—so patient, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance, they’ve been super understanding and quick to help. The maintenance team is also top-notch—they’re fast, friendly, and always get things done right away. It really feels like they care about their tenants. Highly recommend this place!

First may I just say the Service at this place was amazing!!! I was helped by the wonderful Elizabeth !!! She was so pleasant to talk to and such a helpful person answering all the questions and concerns I had. Would totally recommend speaking with her if you need anything cleared up or have any concerns about anything. totally recommend!!!

The staff at The Emerson is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are competent and knowledgeable and very good at what they do. Bridgette recently helped walk me through a particular challenging process and did it with kindness and no judgement. I’ve had a great experience here.

Estuve viviendo acá por 5 años. No me puedo quejar ,los chicos de mantenimiento siempre estuvieron dispuestos a colaborarme en lo mas pronto posible para ellos . En la Administracion encore grandes y grata personas que siempre escutcheon mis necesidades onpreocupaciones , estuvieron disputes a tender su mano cuando las necesite . Hoy me tengo que mudar ya que hay siempre que buscar otros horizontes . El mejor de los éxitos para todos uds Brigitte, Eli , Esperanza y todos los chicos . Great apartment to live in cheap the office staff and maintenance team is quick to respond with the work orders and problems i have with my paper works and i cant see my self living somewhere else

We have lived her for a long time and have seen changes for the better. Management have helped us out in moments of need. Also the programs Theresa the resident service coordinator provides are amazing! She is amazing. We have our kids enrolled in the after school program and they have grown so much because of it. Theresa has given a new breath of fresh air to our community and I hope she can stay forever. Her efforts have made great strides in making this a community a family. Thank you!

What can I say about the emerson. Well for one you won't believe it's a low income community! The community is well kept my neighbors are so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoy the events they do for the community. What other community does theses things for their residents!!!??? Ive lived at other apartments and never felt like they cared for their tenants. At the emerson it's the opposite. They treat you like family. When I was going through a rough patch and was not able to pay rent on time liz came to me rescue. Not only was she understanding and sympathetic she worked with me we made a plan that worked for me and I was able to get on track the following month. I've noticed some negative comments but it makes no sense. I know there are people who break the rules and I'm almost certain those people are the ones leaving bad reviews since the staff stays on top of those who can't respect the rules of the community. I can say talking with people within the community they feel the same way i do they love this place. So please don't let the negative comments deter you from renting here. Thank you Emerson staff for not only giving me a place to live but for making it feel like a home.

I’ve lived in these apartments for several years, and I can't say enough good things about them. The staff here is absolutely amazing—always kind, extremely understanding, and genuinely caring. Once, they even surprised me with a box of chai tea because they knew how much I enjoyed it every time I visited the office (where they have a Keurig machine with complimentary coffee and tea). The maintenance team is equally fantastic. They are quick to respond to any requests and consistently do a great job of keeping the apartments in excellent condition. Whenever I’ve needed something fixed, a quick call has always resulted in prompt and efficient service. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-maintained, and of high quality. The entire complex is super clean and offers a peaceful living environment. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of stores, restaurants, shops, and a gas station just across the street. They also provide a nice gym and pool for the tenants to enjoy. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a great place to live!

I have lived here at the Emerson Apartments for a little over a year now! I absolutely love this complex. It is extremely diverse and family oriented. The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, updated, and clean. The ladies in the office, alongside the maintenance team work extremely hard at keeping the property clean and holding everyone accountable in playing their role in doing so as well. I also love the ladies in the office for how kind, accommodating, and helpful they are when it comes to working with me anytime I need a little extra assistance . I’ve developed a very good relationship with them, and I’m grateful for all they do. Little fun short story: A couple of months back, I called down to the office to get some information. When I called, Bridgette answered the phone. She answered my questions and was really helpful. At the end of our conversation she says “Do you need maintenance to come change the battery in your smoke detector?” 😂 lol I had become so immune to the noise that I didn’t even notice it. She scheduled maintenance to come and fix it and they did it in a timely manner. It was funny to me though, but I’m grateful she cared enough to ask, because it might still be goin off to this day lol This is a great place to live!

Esmeralda went above and beyond with the leasing process with me. I recommend The Emerson Apartments, they have great amenities and a wonderful staff!

I love the resident events we have had and have planned. Theresa has been such a great addition to an already amazing team! Maintenance is the best and work harder than most other places I've lived maintenance team. Everyone goes above and beyond for the residents and even potential people moving in. Recommend :)

El mejor trato

Staff are cool and definitely had a positive turn around in the last year. They have always had timely responses to maintenance requests, and take care of problems when they arise. There’s also a rent payment service they work with, Flex to split rent if you have difficulty getting it all together on time. Flex will pay your full rent when you pay a large portion they cover up to 500 dollars. Granted it usually is an extra $20-30 more for using the service because it’s an outside entity that is loaning you money, so definitely worth it to help spread your money out a bit better. And before this service the office was always willing to work with me if I didn’t have the whole amount at one time. Also you definitely wouldn’t feel it was a low income community, the apartments are extremely nice for subsidized housing. Even compared to regular non subsidized apartments that I’ve seen in the salt lake area that are far more costly. And the neighbors from my experience are friendly or secluded like myself.

I have been here for approximately 8 months, and the few gripes I have are regarding other residents. The staff is great. Really. The office Ladies are just that, and so understanding. They are very sweet to me and my children, I definitely feel comfortable/ at home here. My children and I are fortunate to have this place as our home.

Very friendly management! I really like everyone who works in the office and maintenance.. from the Apartment Manager to all the other people who works here on a daily basis. I always enjoy going into the office because they know me by name and are considered my apartment office friends. I would only considered giving it 4 stars based on the fact that some of the apartments really need updating, and I've never seen nor met anyone beyond the management who works here on a daily basis. If your considering moving in (which I would recommend it to anyone) I would suggest asking if you could look at the apartment or apartments they have available.The reason is some apartments have been recently renovated so it would be worth your time to wait an extra week or two to get into a renovated apt (But I do think they are updating the apartments as people move out, maybe ask to be sure) I know that's difficult for some people to do but I highly recommend it. The fact that the office & maintenance is very friendly and willing to listen and work with you, maintenance has always quickly taken care of any problem we've had.. so that makes it the best part of living here, for me. They have many apartments to manage but that old rule "show respect to receive respect" goes a long way with anyone. As for Owners or Upper Management (anyone beyond the Apartment Manager, who the manager is actually Amazing!) I've never seen or met anyone beyond that.. so I couldn't give a yay or nay about them. Like I said, the apartments are Ok (but I haven't lived in one for over 30yrs, so I couldn't give a good comparison) But as I first suggested, find one you think will work with your needs.. and know that there are really good people who work here!

My children and I have been residents of the Emerson for 3 years now, and can’t say enough good things about living here! The staff are all absolutely amazing! Bridgette, Liz and Esmeralda all go above and beyond for the residents and are so attentive, helpful, kind and professional! The maintenance crew are always extremely prompt and knowledgeable, and very respectful! And the resident services coordinator, Donna, always has the best community resources and activities for all the residents! The most recent was providing backpacks full of back to school supplies and a taco bar night so the children and their parents could have dinner and get everything they need for back to school for free! The community is excellent, it’s extremely safe, walking distance to grocery stores and gas stations, and a fantastic school district. And the rental prices are unbeatable! Also a huge plus, while other complexes are increasing rent prices during renewal by multiple hundreds of dollars, the Emerson is always extremely fair and the increases are minimal! I am so glad I found this amazing complex and look forward to another year in this wonderful community!

Lived here for over year with no problems. Clean grounds, friendly staff especially Anna who I've worked with for the entire duration of my lease has been an absolute pleasure to work with. They are quick with resolutions to problems and I've never had any mysterious charges to my rent. It's the same amount every month without fail. I love these apartments who just came under new management only a few months before I initially moved in. Great job to the staff! Edit: Since getting new internet providers service is horrible if you work from home look elsewhere. Also don't give full 24hrs in advance. Posting they're going to be doing things to the property and building at 5pm at night for the next day at 8am. That's not a full 24hrs that's just you leaving a notice the day before. Maybe not use off brand internet providers. AND actually give residents 24 full hrs. SMH. They did rectify many issues before I moved out and I got a portion of my deposit back which I wasn't expecting.

I have lived here for 2 years now and i am absolutely pleased. The girls in the office have always been very helpful. I had to do my first recertification and they made it so easy for me to get that completed despite their busy day to day. Elliot, Mike and Fernando are amazing and on top of their game ! Im very happy with how fast and efficient they are. Kai (office dog) is the best member of the team ! She makes it so inviting to come into the office !

My experience has been amazing the last 5 months! The customer experience I've gotten from one of the managers Bridgette has been out of this world!! Anytime I've had a small issue I have talked to her and she hears me out and gets it taken care of ASAP. Any small maintenance issues I've had have been taken care of the same day. Literally the best customer service I've EVER had when it comes to apartments! I couldn't be more grateful and appreciative of their staff.

As a business owner myself I know how hard it can be to make sure your clients are happy! But man the staff here does not get enough recognition! And to see the people they have to deal with, this company should be paying them executive salaries! I have come in multiple times to talk to Esmeralda and Bridgette and they are amazing! The new assistant manager is such a great help as well, it's amazing! The bad reviews come from entitled people who have forgotten that they are lucky to be here! To even have the opportunity to have a place this nice to be offered to lower income families. To all the bad reviews, go rent units at full price and see how they treat you. Good luck living in denial.

I Have always had the most remarkable experience with the team this community has. I have had several things come up, that I have needed taken care of and they have taken care of it(quickly). Esmeralda has been a breath of fresh air to this community, so much better than the last admin they had. Lastly the staff as a whole has been very professional to work with and has made living here very pleasant! I wish other communities had teams like the team they have here!

I've been living here for 3 years and love it! Bridgette and all the office staff are always very friendly and helpful. Even when something needs to be fixed Elliott is always very attentive and gets things fixed and squared away in a very timely manner. The pool is always clean and clear of any and all trash. Do your self a favor and move here!
