I lived at The Weaver for a little over two years with Adri and honestly have nothing but great things to say. The location is hard to beat. Being that close to the trail and Town Lake made it easy to get outside, run, grab coffee at Afuga across the street or just enjoy Austin without having to drive everywhere. The building itself was a great place to live, but the staff is really what made it feel easy. Everyone was always super friendly, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. Any time we needed something, they were responsive and kind about it. We’re definitely going to miss it. The Weaver was a big part of our East Austin chapter, and we’re grateful we got to call it home for as long as we did. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great apartment in an awesome location with a great team.

Praj and Donnell are the absolute best! Friendly staff and great services, highly recommend!! Going on my third year living here!

Close by lady bird lake and the trail! Great amenities, cool staff and good service. Most dog friendly apartment complex in Austin.

::::Post-Move-Out-Update:::: The move-out experience was painless. We didn’t incur any questionable fees, and I feel the staff were communicative and respectful. I wanted to add this because we were worried about how much we might owe after moving out, but I guess we didn’t really need to worry. It was a good move-out experience. 😊 Original Review: After living at the Weaver for over 3 years now, I can honestly say the experience has been unique. There is a welcoming, close-knit community of dog owners here that has brought so much joy into my life. I met some of my best friends here, human and canine, and I don’t know what I would do without them! Praj in the front office is genuinely kind and always ready with a treat for the dogs in our community. Rolando is a great service manager and will actually take the time to tell me about the status of a work order, when he anticipates it will be done, or why it’s taking longer than anticipated. Donell has taken a lot of time over the years to explain certain things to me, and she was very kind when I was going through a hard time. When my unit had mold, they remediated it. The management team prior to this one was horrible. They did not take care of the building, and as a result, some things started breaking down. But, Donell and her team have been proactive in keeping up with repairs and maintenance requests. Is everything perfect? No. But, would I recommend the Weaver to someone who is looking for the perfect location and dog-friendly community? Yes. This is a fun place to live, with lots of active people and great access to downtown, Rainy, East 6th, and the Ladybird Lake Trail. If you are a young professional with a dog, you will fit right in and most likely love living at the Weaver.

I have loved living here for the past three years. I started in a one bedroom and recently moved into a two bedroom, and both units were clean and well taken care of when I moved in. Any issues I’ve had over the years have always been resolved quickly by the maintenance staff, which I really appreciate. The common spaces are usually kept very neat, and I have to give a shout-out to the gentleman who cleans the grills every single day. That definitely doesn’t go unnoticed, especially because I love to grill. The community and the community managers are great—everyone is so friendly and warm toward one another. It’s also a great place if you have a dog, and the location of The Weaver is perfect since it’s right along the trail. I also enjoy walking around the neighborhood. If you walk east into the neighborhood, it feels very safe and there are lots of interesting plants and gardens to see in people’s yards if you’re into that kind of thing. Another huge perk is the businesses right downstairs. The Weaver complex has my favorite nail salon (ARCO), a great coffee shop that also serves beer and wine (Afuga), and now a place to work out at (Base). The only downside right now is that there is some construction happening up the street but thankfully I don’t hear it from the apartment.

Very happy with my apartment and the Weaver management. Praj is the best! Everyone is so friendly and any maintenance issues/tickets placed are addressed same day. I have no complaints only a positive experience this past year living at the Weaver. Very dog friendly community which is a plus for me!

Amazing location close to Rainey and East 6th but still being secluded and right on the river. I love stepping outside my home and being right on the walking trail. The apartments are also really modern and the staff is so friendly. If I have a maintenance issue they’re stopping by the next day.

It’s peaceful, quiet, safe, and the location couldn’t be better , everything feels close but it still feels like a little escape from the chaos. Management has always been kind, responsive, and truly helpful whenever I needed anything, which makes such a difference, you have available people who really care about you. Donell and Praj make the whole difference they really make It feels like home, and honestly I can’t picture myself living anywhere else right now. The pool is great, all the shared spaces are fantastic.

I moved here in August from North Carolina, and I have truly loved living at The Weaver so far. My roommate and I are both here post-grad, and we’ve met so many other young people, which has made the transition to a new city so much easier and more fun. The management team has been amazing—especially Praj. She has been incredibly helpful with any questions we’ve had and always makes us feel heard and supported. One of my favorite parts about living here is the location. Being right next to Lady Bird Lake has been perfect for staying active. I love being able to easily go on walks and runs whenever I want. Afuga is right beside us and has great coffee, which is such a bonus, and the new fitness class, Base, is right downstairs. Even without that, the apartment gym itself is very nice and well-maintained. The Weaver is especially great for young people and dog owners. There are so many residents with dogs, which creates such a fun and welcoming community. Also, for anyone who may have heard about the car shows in the past, they have not happened in months and have not been an issue. Overall, I have loved living here and have met so many amazing people!

I had a maintenance man come to my unit for some basic service. His name was Joshua, I hott say a super solid outstanding young man did very good work, very polite and respectful of my place and my property all done in a timely manner. Management and their team definitely know what they’re doing. Have never been unsatisfied! Thank y’all!!

I have lived in the Weaver for almost 5 years and love it. The location, the facilities, and the staff are all great. I have been through multiple management companies here and have lived in both buildings. Donell and Praj have by far been the most effective, efficient, and supportive leasing team I've had in my tenure and made my transfer easy and transparent. The maintenance staff, Josh in particular, have also been so kind and responsive to the requests I have put in or any support I've needed.

Say goodbye to any chance of a peaceful weekend living at the Weaver!! The "Chicano Car Show" takes place every Sunday 5pm-9pm on the east side of the apartment complex. (At times beginning as early as noon, as well as sporadic appearances on Saturdays) You can expect all the usual chaos that comes with car meetups . Some of the illegal, and disturbing activities regularly taking place include and are not limited to the following: Weaving In & Out, Burnouts, Drifting, Donuts, Extremely Loud Music (Apartment Vibrating), Drinking while Recklessly Driving, Littering, Verbal Threats, Hopping Curbs, Trespassing and Urinating on The Weaver Property, etc. All of which I have on video - I'd be happy to share with anyone who asks (Wouldn't let me attach videos on here) Hundreds of calls by residents have been made to law enforcement. Austin PD has taken no initiative to control these increasingly dangerous meetups. The Weaver has also been informed of these concerns and has promised to increase security features as the property currently does not have equip surveillance systems. Concerned for safety, as my unit faces Comal Rd (Where the car meetup is held) I reached out to the leasing office asking to transfer to another unit without having to pay the hefty transfer fee. After a week no response, I was informed the request was denied. Without diving too deep into this specific situation, it came down to The Weaver (Equity Residential) being money hungry, instead of prioritizing the safety of their residents. Praj and Donnell in the front office are very nice and helpful - all of this aside.

Love the location of this place. We walked into the leasing office and Jamal helped us right away. We didn’t have an appointment or anything. He gave us a fob and let us do a self guided tour. It was awesome wandering around and checking out all the club house and pool spaces. Love how close it is to the lake too!

Great location and I think well-priced for the proximity to the lake, great food, and cute streets to shop and bar hop. Super walkable neighborhood. Beautiful, well maintained indoor and outdoor spaces around the property to work remotely, chill or gather. But my favorite part is the staff - everyone is incredibly kind and helpful. Special shout-out to Layton - I've lived here almost 2 years and he has consistently goes gone and beyond with any maintenance needs (super responsive, very skilled, so professional, notably patient and just overall incredibly helpful). Thank you Layton!! P.S was looking at other reviews, and not sure what all the fuss about the car show on Sunday nights is about? It's a reasonable level noise for a community gathering at a park, which is what it is, and never goes late. It's also easy to drive around with multiple routes out of the neighborhood. We exist in a world where other people are equally allowed exist. <3

The Weaver has been great. The location is absolutely amazing and is super close to the trail and river. It's amazingly dog friendly and there's a big dog area for dogs to play. There's also a pool and lounge area for people to socialize. The staff is always nice and the valet trash service is excellent. The part I enjoy the most is the gym.

Love the staff. My apartment is spacious. The closets and tub is my favorite. Parking is easy. They have new camera security system in the garage.

Praj was very welcoming upon entry! She was assisting to train the new member of the team Paloma (who was 2 weeks new and extremely insightful, friendly, and knowledgable). Donell, Community Manager, made the application process and experience all the more welcoming. The team tended to leasing needs, questions of concern, and my dog who was on site during my tour. The community was very welcoming and clean. Extremely impressed. Very thankful for this experience, highly recommend!

Even if some of the building standards are not great I want to give five stars to the building management team, they are so helpful and nice.

We recently transferred apartments and what could have been a very stressful move naturally was instead a very easy, painless process from securing the apartment we wanted to being able to move in quickly and have everything squared away with management. In terms of the building itself, I’ve lived here going on 3 years and can’t say enough about the location and cost per square footage when compared to other east side apartments. The apartments are super spacious and well maintained, I’ve never personally had a maintenance issue.

Best kept secret on the east side. Every place has its problems -- especially when the front office has to act as the messenger for a tone-deaf corporate management. But the people on-site are wonderful and investments continue to improve the common spaces. So, unless you're going to be upset about a multi-decade Sunday gathering happening at the nearby blocks, you'll find yourself quite happy here.

Maintenance always on top of things, quick responses. Daily cleaning of buildings. Friendly staff!

I found the amenities to be top notch! The community was clean and location was second to none. And to top it off, the office staff made me feel so welcomed from the moment I walked in the door.

LOVE the Weaver!!! I’ve lived in the building for 2 years now. Super convenient location in a quiet residential neighborhood. 3-minute drive to Whole Foods, Target, & all the best stuff on East 6th Street. 1-block away from Lady Bird Lake. Awesome gym (which is almost always empty). The building has a massive grassy field which becomes a fun dog park in the evenings. Love the Pool + 5th Floor Sky Lounge! Office management is friendly and very responsive (shoutout to Morgan for always going the extra mile!)

Love the new management team, I’ve been living here for the past 2 years. And it’s such a great change from where I was before. I’m so grateful to have a beautiful apartment! Where I see myself to live here for a long while 🙏 The manger has such great qualities but im going to mention one of them that really stood out to me! I went to the office one day with some of the questions I may have in the future with the apartment I’m in and with rent furthermore she’s helped me understand all the questions I’ve had even tho it may have a been a silly to ask. Had made me felt comfortable and understood🙏

I love this place and the location is super nice ,walking distance from restaurants, trails etc , I been here for almos a year and haven't had no problems at all , management is new and is very helpful on the apartment needs,, 😉👍

We just moved in early Jan 2023 to this complex and have been very satisfied with the leasing team and overall experience. The main entrance items that needed to be done before move in were handled quickly and Paul, the maintenance manager, is absolutely the best! He is quick, kind and extremely helpful, even coming to find me on the property one day to give me an update (I was working in the clubhouse). The space is beautiful and well located and we love coming home here.

Love the location and the amenities. When I stayed there, all the staff were very polite and helpful (Guilermo and Frank specially)

Not a terrible place to live but definitely overpriced for what you get. Edit: Guillermo and George came in very clutch this Saturday night after 8pm. I lost my keys, Guillermo was quick to get back to me, and George left his daily gathering to bring me a new set. Top notch customer service and I'm extremely grateful to have such an attentive management team

I've lived here for just over a year and have only had positive experiences with staff and management, which is really important to me when living in a large apartment complex. The new property manager, Guillermo, is an absolute gem. He went above and beyond to help us with something recently and it's really refreshing to interact with someone who seems to genuinely care about the residents. Love the location of The Weaver as well. Close to downtown, the river and all the Eastside eateries and shops.

EDIT: after a bit more than an additional month things are settling down with the new management. The pool is no longer green and gets maintained once a week (winter schedule I'm sure), staff levels are about the same but that's not terrible, and most importantly the new online payment system is back online! Updated from 3 stars to 4 stars I've been living here for about 6 months and things were pretty good, although expensive. The place is nice enough and valet trash keeps the hallways clean for the most part (although the trash chute room door always seems to be open, which makes that area a bit smelly). Until recently, I'd probably give them a 4/5 or higher but the property was recently sold and new management cut back on staff, discontinued online payments, and the pool is turning green in the past three weeks. I've been told the online payment system should be up soon, and it's possible they just need to hire more staff to maintain the property. If things turn around, I'll be happy to update my review!
