Corazon

Fantastic service. Corazon has a great location but the building is a little older than many others. That's is where the people and the maintenance shines. Hannah and Aubrey bring a sense of community that simply cannot be artificially created and Charlie maintains the entire physical infrastructure. They're the difference from Corazon being somewhere you want to live geographically to Corazon being somewhere you want to call home.

Overall, Corazon is the best place that I've lived in Austin so far. I want to specifically highlight the amazing staff. Hannah helped a lot with the contract and the entire move-in process. Ercilia prepared the apartment and made it feel brand new. Charlie did an amazing job handling rare maintenance requests promptly, responsibly, and with a great attitude.

Disclaimer at end. Corazon itself (which is what I am reviewing)- amazing, wonderful, perfect location, 0 problems in the 2 years I lived there. It truly made my Austin experience a million times better. Specifically Aubrey from the front office is an angel and magician and has saved me (getting packages when I’m not in town, fast responder to any issues, goes out of her way to get to know you). I started living at Corazon when she was a leasing agent (she was the one to sell me on my apartment) and have seen her work ethic push her to well deserved promotions. You can tell she cares about Corazon and is proud of her work. Also loved community manager (I believe her name is Angie). Clean apartments and very spacious. AMAZING location (there’s an exit onto E. 6th and it’s a 10 minute walk to downtown). Across the street from both a Whole Foods and Target. Easy walk to Caesar Chavez and more of the East Side. 5 minute walk to Jewboy Sliders. 10-15 minute walk to Nickel City and that area. 20 minute walk to Desnudo/Veracruz Tacos. Very vibrant community with lots of cool and awesome people. Amazing community events as well. Random discounts to local stores/restaurants. Routine pest control and maintenance responded to in usually 24 hours or less-thank you to Audrey and the amazing maintenance people. It’s easy for guests to come visit you because there is free parking for guests. Occasionally the closest elevator to you might break down but there are 2 others down the hallway since it’s a small building. I cannot recommend living here enough truly but I would be remiss if I did not explain the move out. Move in was awesome and renewing the lease was the easiest ever. However, after move out, Greystar, the company who owns Corazon, claimed absolutely unfair “move out charges”. After months of disputing and asking for evidence, they finally cleared my balance. I am definitely grateful that was cleared and this issue was settled but I do want to warn people this may be a problem in the future. During move out, I would take copious amounts of pictures as evidence that there was nothing besides the usual wear of someone living in an apartment.

Charlie is hands-down one of the best parts of living here. Every time something needs fixing, he shows up with a smile, a great attitude, and gets the job done right the first time. He’s always friendly, respectful, and clearly takes pride in his work. Whether it’s a quick repair or something more involved, Charlie handles it with professionalism and care. Huge thanks to Charlie for consistently going above and beyond, he really makes this place feel like home.

Charles, the service technician is great! Anytime I have had an issue he has been prompt to help and fix any problem while also explaining to me the root of what is going on. Very friendly and efficient!

I have lived at this property for several months now, and have nothing but great things to say. Aside from the great location, what really makes this property great is the staff. The community manager Angie has been absolutely phenomenal, and has handled every situation with extreme professionalism & care. The maintenance team is top tier as well, as Charlie handles every issues that arises extremely quick.

Shoutout to Charlie the handyman here at Corazon who's constantly working to make sure everything is in perfect order, from the pool to the building fixtures and anything in between, and always with a smile. Today I had the pleasure of having him over to fix a stubborn garbage disposal issue and as usual he made short work of it, with a can-do attitude to match. Here's to one of the people that make life easy at Corazon.

We’ve lived at the Corazon for several years and have definitely noticed the effort put in by the new property management team at Greystar. They are working with the owners to improve the common areas including new carpet and paint both inside and outside of the building. The maintenance staff are always friendly and work hard to make sure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Angie was super helpful in answering our questions about our renewal. We are looking forward to more improvements in the upcoming year. PS The location is amazing!

What a fantastic place to live in beautiful Austin, TX Maintenace is quick and efficient. They take great care of the grounds and are excellent on response time to work orders. Close proximity to downtown Austin. The office team is responsive and extremely kind.

Ever since Greystar has taken over this place things have been so much better! Lyndsie is one of the best managers this place has seen. Janay and the leasing staff are also great and bring a welcoming feeling to this community we desperately needed! They’ve done so many upgrades and I look forward to renewing and seeing what else they fix up around here. Of course there is always room for improvement at any community but these ladies have definitely showed their efforts to make this place better.

I've lived here for over a year and the Maintenance/ Office team are always responsive and have the best customer service! Shout out to Janay and Brandon! They make a difference at Corazon and super excited for all the renovations to come!

Moved here recently and love the location! I had a couple very small issues after a while and Mathew came by quickly to address and fix them!

Got home from work and realized my AC had went out while I was gone and it was already really hot! It was after hours but Mathew had no issues coming back to get it back up and running for the night. Thank you mathew!

Was having a few maintenance issues between my appliances and some drawers. Mathew came by and was able to get everything working back as should with the appliances and got the drawers re aligned!

My bestie lives at Corazon and I’ve had the opportunity to meet the maintenance guy Matthew during a maintenance request. The work order was completed in less than 48 hours. I loved Matthew’s costumer service as he explained the repair. He is professional and repaired everything on my friends work order. From a great location, to a well rounded service team, I strongly recommend this community.
