I’ve had a great experience living here, and I really want to shout out the amazing staff—Leo and Kevin on the maintenance team are always quick, professional, and take pride in their work, and Karen and Cece do an incredible job keeping the building so clean while always being so friendly and cheerful. They truly make this place feel like home.

We had a leak under our kitchen sink this morning. Reached out for maintenance and Kevin arrived within 30 minutes, quickly identified the issue (pipe), and fixed it right away. Everything is now back to normal. The response was fast and efficient, something we’ve consistently experienced with the Skye at Bunker Hill maintenance team. Huge thanks to Kevin and the entire team for keeping the building in such great condition. We truly appreciate it!!!

I had a clogged toilet which led to water coming out of the drain of bathtub. Leo from maintenance came thru and fixed the problem with no issues. Great service and thanks again

Had a bit of a plumbing issue today that one of the maintenance techs, Leo, quickly sorted out for us. He was here resolving our issue within an hour which was great.

Abraham, Kevin, and Leo were outstanding in tracking down and resolving the source of noise that was interupting my sleep, health, work and livelihood. While the building management allowed this to persist for 4+ months. The maintenance team identified the source and corrected the problem within 8 days of being identified of the problem. They were most courteous and kept me updated with the status of their efforts; they asked questions, listened intently and demonstrated persistence, tenacity, excellent problem-solving, and outstanding customer service. Building management should follow their example.

Living here the past 2 years has been great, the staff is on top of the maintenance work order request and the office answers all my questions in a timely manner

Parting Glances. I just moved out and Carina Amador did a fine job as my related communications professional. She was timely, courteous, gracious , and fair. I felt that we both did our best to create the best turnover process possible. Excellent associate on board. The pre-moveout inspection was disappointing I repainted accent walls white but the report said "painted the wrong color." It was a different shade of white. I had not idea there were 258 shades of white paint. "How was I to know this?" I inquired. "You could have asked." So Primer and Primer & Paint, labor, materials, and time were worth nothing. Full repainting charge. The report, designed "to give tenants a chance to correct ....." still didn't specify the color. And a different shade of white seems like it would need less paint than white over red. I just didn't say right with me. And without moving his feet , the inspector in charge said, "There will charge you for cleaning." You haven't even looked (he hand). I had the toilet seat office hinges to clean around those holes, a special tool to clean the trash in the sliding closet door, Brite Grout and two brushes grout cleaning, Mr. Clean baseboard heating, dryer filter cleaning, pro sweeping ANC leaf blowing, fridge ABC freezer cleaning and much more. Valued at nothing. Full clean checkmark. That didn't sit right with me either. I really did my very best to turn over apartment the way I would want to find it, but unlike the good feelings with Karina Amador in the communications arena , I felt the inspection results were pretty much established before the inspector's pen hit the paper form. I don't have any large property management company do these types of inspections, at I don't know why. I paid about $50,000 to live in a studio space for two years and I returned it in very good condition. Must unearned nickels and dimes from a fictional inspection be added to that? AND DOG DAY AFTERNOONS, MORNINGS AND NIGHTS. My neighbors for my last two or three months in the complex have a number of dogs. The chief dog was like a junkyard dog that lived outside, and and I had a bark that would register somewhere in the middle of the Richter scale. Seven in the morning, two in the morning, didn't matter. Loud barking . A lot. Reported it. Nothing happened. The neighbors apparently just had their dogs relieve themselves on their patio, rather than walking and picking up after their dogs . Every week or so they took a hose and sprayed the dog feces out from their patio to the General Plaza and sometimes my doorway. Reported. Nothing was done. By the time I left , my patio entry smelled like the dog feces, fresh ones in those just sort of dried in the sun On fresh feces day, the flies swarmed. Really it was a health hazard, as well as unimaginably inconsiderate neighbor behavior. But nothing was done. Some of that can be attributed to what happens when you manage your building from afar.. you miss things like this. I still give the complex a four star rating because they are good people Kevin Amaya of maintenance who do their past and the apartment spaces are great and the pool is great and the location is great . But I thought I'd share my parting glances with positive feedback for Carena Amador , and not so good feedback on the downside of allowing some pet owners to engage and repeated bad behavior without any boundaries or consequence

Rented a studio apartment on the 12th floor. The studio is a decent size for one person. The view cannot be beat - especially at night when the city is lit up! The building itself is clean and safe. Maintenance calls are handled quickly and efficiently. I had a small leasing hiccup at the end of my lease, and the issue was handled by the Skye team with grace and professionalism.

This is a review for Skye at Bunker hill. Specifically for Abraham and Kevin, my maintenance technicians. I had 3 issues happening all at the same time: washer, dishwasher and a blind needing replacement. Both Abraham and Kevin showed the upmost professionalism while working in my apt. Blinds were replaced, washer was fixed and my washer/dryer were all taken care of in a timely manner. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you gentlemen! And thank you Skye.

Carlos and Kevin are probably the best maintenance guy ever. Almost taking care of things fast and effectively. They elevate the living experience of this building. You know you are in good hands.

Maintenance team and upkeep around the property is stellar. Kevin is your guy for anything and Carina in the office is always super helpful.

Working with Carina was great! I had some needs with my parking space issues and she fixed the issue immediately. She is Very patient and very nice person.

Been living here for 4 months now and I have no complaints! I love the location and the facilities. The staff are also very attentive and whenever there’s a maintenance issue, they would fix it right away. Absolutely recommend!

The maintenance team here moves at light speed during regular and emergency hours. I have had only basic requests, but they are communicative via the online app and I very much appreciate that.

I’ve been living at Skye Bunker Hill for six months, and it truly feels like home. The location is ideal, offering easy access to anywhere in Los Angeles within 20 minutes. While the building itself is somewhat dated and could benefit from some renovations, the maintenance team is consistently present and does a great job keeping the premises clean. One of the standout aspects is interacting with Dao, the community relations representative. Dao is always helpful, providing thoughtful solutions and insights rather than just rushing to conclude our conversations.

Since moving in Dao has been very helpful with everything. Anytime i’d call she’d be available to answer my questions. Maintenance has been very helpful and easy to get a hold of. Guest parking is nice it can just be full on the weekends.

I enjoy living at Bunker Hill, the staff on site is amazing! Karen is always so pleasant and helpful! The maintenance team is fast and reliable. Glad to have Kevin on-site for any maintenance concerns or just general help around the complex. Great on-site team!

Really enjoying my stay here, the area is nice, walkable, and feels considerably safer than other areas of downtown. Maintenance has been quick and reliable. Parking and security are good too. I'd also like to thank the community relations team, particularly Dao who has been of great help with leasing.

Just moved in a couple of weeks ago and we have been enjoying our experience so far. The leasing office, specifically Dao, has been incredibly helpful in making sure our move into the apartment especially smooth, whether it be installing internet, or helping my wife with her unique situation or answering the million questions we had thrown at them. The maintenance team was incredibly responsive and fixed some of the minor issues we were having in apartment and answered all the questions we had.

Scott G Such a great location particularly if you like to walk. From the connected walkway you can get to BOA Plaza, One California Plaza, and Grand Central Market. Austin and his staff, including Jonathan, have responded right away to questions in order to get me settled in quickly. Abner and Dominic handled a maintenance request quickly and went above and beyond to replace an item. The building is quiet and well run. Looking forward to the coming year here!

The leasing staff at Bunker are extremely helpful and responsive. I’ve had to transfer units and their leasing specialist Adam Brown was extremely responsive and helpful with my questions. Overall Bunker has been a good experience. Abner Mendez and the entire maintenance staff is extremely helpful. I foolishly tried to offer a tip but they are so nice and professional. Shoutout to the maintenance team! They are always quick to respond to maintenance requests on the app, get things done right away and are always very polite. I opened a ticket late night to replace my closet doors and they came to look at it first thing next morning, ordered the parts and fixed the doors the next day. Very efficient.

I enjoyed my stay at Skye at Bunker! Maintenance was very quick to respond and location and amenities were nice. Further, Jonathan with their resident relations team is being very helpful finding me find a new place in another Essex building closer to work!

I have lived at Skye at Bunker Hill for over 5 years. During that period of time, I have submitted Maintenance Requests that has always been handled timely and efficiently by Tony Mercado Ibarra, Senior Maintenance Supervisor. BRAVO for a JOB WELL DONE, Tony!

I have been a long time resident of Skye at Bunker Hill. Like with everything, there's good and bad. But for me, the positives have consistently outweighed the negatives. Although a large complex, there is a sense community that has been building for quite a few years now. The Maintenance Team is excellent, providing swift service and going above and beyond to take care of residents' needs and concerns. Staff, including Luis Galvez and Karen Rovira, are courteous and professional and do all they can to make tenants happy.
