The Standard at Domain Northside Apartments

Excellent apartment to live in domain, the staff is very responsive and always effective in addressing any issues- especially Edwardo, Reiner and Emilio helped my regular maintenance quite a lot.

Was a smooth sailing year which took a wonky turn when switching to new management. Fortunately, Nathan Elliot is a proper homie and converted the woes into more smooth sailing. Would definitely recommend you speak with him if you need any kind of assistance. The halls are clean, the space is generally very quiet, maintenance isnt obnoxious, and the building alarm only goes off a few times a year.

Enjoyed living here for close to a year. The maintenance staff, Eduardo and Jonny, are pretty helpful and responsive.

Been living in complex for the last 3 years - the best decision I've made when moving to Austin! This is a great apartment complex with very kind management staff in the best location in Austin. Highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone who wants to live near the Domain!

Better management by Victoria, great events.

I’ve lived at The Standard at Domain for a while now, and I’ve seen a real shift recently ... in a good way. Since the new manager, Victoria, came on board, things feel more organized and responsive. You can tell she actually cares about how the property runs and about the resident experience. Communication has improved, the office follows up, and there’s a stronger sense of accountability overall. Maintenance requests are being handled more efficiently, and the team seems more aligned than before. The effort and consistency are noticeable. It makes a difference when leadership is present and involved. Victoria has definitely brought that. If the current direction continues, this place is on the right track.

Having lived here for over 8 years I've always found the Standard a good place to live and fantastic value for money. This week the team has gone above and beyond in their levels of service (great first impressions of the new management company) responding to impacts from the winter storm, with repairs onsite within 24hours and making accommodations with minimal interruptions to life here. Very happy to call The Standard home.

Edit 1/6/2026: 4 ⭐ -> 5 ⭐ The management company has changed from BH to Willow Bridge. I had some issues with my rent autopay but I contacted management and was able to get it resolved swiftly. New management has left a great first impression. A roach came in through the bathroom vent on Oct 18 and again on Oct 20. The first time it left the way it came but the second time it is now hiding behind the bathroom mirror. I waited with lights off for an hour to try to kill it with a paper towel but it didn’t come out. My fear is they are reporting back to the nest and will bring more and more roaches over time. Pest control only comes on Fridays (Oct 24) so I guess I’m just living with roaches for a week. 1 star for now but will update this review as the issue progresses. Everything else is nice though and the Maintenance guy for building C, Josh, is really good. If you move in here make sure to check that your bathroom vent isn’t loose and there aren’t gaps for roaches to slip through. Edit Oct 20: I had the brilliant idea to drop quarters in the crack between the mirror and the wall to try to flush it out, but I’m either incredibly unlucky, it’s incredibly skilled at hiding, or it’s gone. Perhaps it silently fled back into the vent under the (1 hour) cover of darkness, or maybe theres a hole in the wall behind the mirror that it can enter/exit through. Will keep updating. Edit Oct 26: Pest Control came Friday and put some traps and roach bait. Really nice guy, explained the types of common pests and how to avoid them. Told me that I had to contact maintenance to fix the vent though, which I did, and Josh came by later that Friday to fix it. Maintenance has been incredibly swift and helpful throughout the process as well as for previous work orders, bumping review to 4 stars as I was able to get it resolved reasonably.

Friendly and helpful leasing staff. I had arrived early for my appointment and they were happy to accommodate the change, they also took extra effort to share some extra information with me at the end.

Edit: I looked through some of the other reviews. Those look NOTHING like our apartment. Clean and beautiful. No bugs, very attentive maintenance. I would not base a lease decision on a few bad reviews. My main issue was the elevator in our building being out for so long. Appreciate the reply! The experience was ok. We ended up paying a lot more for the moving since there is no freight elevator and we had to use passenger. Apparently according to one resident, one of the two elevators has been broken for 6 months :(. The lease has an incorrect date and I sent emails about it with no reply. There were several times when I sent messages and emails with no reply. They do not pick up the phone in the leasing office either. Hope the stay is better than our initial experiences. The apartment was also not very clean….

I have lived here for 5 years and always boast to everyone about living here! The maintenance and office staff are incredible—always helpful and fast! The location is unbeatable, with every store just minutes away. You get downtown perks with more space and unlimited free parking. Good amenities, fun resident gatherings and a remote workers paradise. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have really enjoyed living at the Standard. It’s in a prime location for us and easy in and out. Having the dog park is super convenient and it’s always kept up. We loved chilling at the pool all summer. The crew in the office is always available and helpful. Anything we need is always taken care of immediately-Highly recommend.

Had a great experience here and always felt taken care of. I was new to the area and management went out of their way to make me feel at home and connected. I have never had a single issue and if I have any need it always goes responded to right away.

Great service from the leasing office! They were so helpful, particularly Matthew Sotomayor. He helped my friends moving from overseas to the Domain tremendously. They were very patient and attentive with everything.

Recently moved into the standard at Domain Northside, and I must say, it has been a wonderful experience from start to present. The leasing office has gone above and beyond to ensure the process of applying, as well as the move in, were as smooth/stress free as possible. But it doesn’t end there; Bonnie, Jennifer, and Matthew are always willing to provide help with any questions. They definitely make it feel like home, and speak to you in a genuinely kind manner. The standard has everything one could need: coffee, gym, pools, great location, friendly leasing staff, mailroom, and maintenance crew that are also very friendly. This is definitely a place I am happy to refer to as home, and look forward to at the end of a long day.

The staff at Standard at the Domain have been hands down the most professional, courteous and helpful group that I have worked with as a vendor. David the Head of Maintenance knows and understands the importance of taking care of the tenants and Bonnie was extremely kind and knowledgeable about all the questions I had about the property, staff and operations. Easily the best group in the Domain I have visited, and I have visited them all. Thank you!
